Can't wait till next year...
Already, wheels are turning for cosplay ideas for next year. Sarah's dad actually thought up one that I'm really excited for, even though I doubt anyone will know it. Since everyone is doing Miyazaki characters, I wanted to join in the fun. For a while I've been debating between Howl (Howl's Moving Castle), San (Princess Mononoke) and to a lesser extent, Shizuku (Whispers of the Heart, a Ghibli film, Miyazaki didn't work on but it'd just mean we were a Studio Ghibli cosplay group instead). Now, the idea is the angel from the On Your Mark music video. So simple but yet I love it so. If I had two guys to cosplay as the police officers, I'm positive there would be no doubt. Wings! A great story! And wings! (I've been wanting to do a cosplay with wings for a while now.)
I highly recommend watching it, its only 6.5 minutes of your time
On a slightly related note... adding hair extension to the back of a wig so you can pull it up into pigtails to stub it is tedious. If all goes well, I should be able to stub it tomorrow... but chances are I missed an area that needs more hair and will need to figure out how to add that in between trick or treat-ers.
