Let's meow meow

So I was sitting at the table in the break room, trying to plot and plan my future Steampunk outfit when an idea hit me. Since Steampunk is all about brass and crackpot inventors often pop up... and the costume I am toying with is sort of a wind-up doll... I was thinking how amazing it'd be to have mechanical ears and a tail. Not covered in fur, brassy pieces with holes in them so you could see some of the mechanical bits at work as they made the ears twitch or the tail sway slightly. (Oh and the ears would be coming out of a top hat.) The idea excites me but I haven't the foggiest on how to start a project like that. Mechanics is not a skill I've ever had to use.

It's fun to think of this stuff, even if I never use the ideas...

(Ok, so the title of the pron games we spotted at AWA still makes me giggle "Let's Meow Meow" and "Do you like horney bunnies?")
