First of all, we have a totally awesome excerpt from the book i'm reading. This is what you've all been waiting for, i can tell. And Yes, it features Peter Singer tearing the shit out of Adam Smith and his 200-year-old-piece-of-shit

I'm glad you enjoyed it jody. the thing about peter singer is he's writing is really easy to read, while he conveys relatively complex concepts. He doesn't confound his writing just to sound like a philosopher, if you know what i mean. Much like Alain de Botton, also.

oh wow! i just read that uni email about Peter Singer and i was contemplating that lecture..
except it is on the 28th of March and that is the date of Jarvis right?
also that signature is far superior to anything Sarah B would have done, really.

well, the Singer lecture is during the day, at lunch in fact, so it could possibly be the greatest day ever - Singer by day, a singer by night.

Yeah. I'm pretty proud of that one. It took me a whole 3 seconds to think up.
