Because Jody doesn't like un-updated journals, so, like jemma before me, here is some good old journal bashing.
First of all, we have a totally awesome excerpt from the book i'm reading. This is what you've all been waiting for, i can tell. And Yes, it features Peter Singer tearing the shit out of Adam Smith and his 200-year-old-piece-of-shit Wealth of the Nations. And might i add i love it when philosophers put exclamation marks in their writing. It just makes me giggle. He's lecturing for free at Melbourne Uni on the 28th o' March, if any melbuni-ers are interested.
Secondly, we have a single picture of Darren Hanlon playing at Ruby's.
All of rich's photo's are better.
Sarah Blasko was there also and duetted with Hanlon on Fire Engine. It was most magical. Then i tried to get Sarah Blasko's autograph at the end of the nigt and mostly everyone knows this sordid tale. Either way, i now own a Darren Hanlon 7" with a poorly imitated SARAH Blasko signiture (complete with anarchy symbol) and Darren Hanlon making it clear to all what is "fake" and what is "real".
And to wrap it up, 'ere is my favourite picture of John Howard.
