Goal $100+
This weekend is Anime North! For those who don't know, it the largest anime convention in Ontario. And I spend Friday there and came back 10am on sat.
I got there at 6pm and met up with Michelle and Fox. They were waiting for Derek who didn't meet them at all! That BASTARD!!!! He booked thier hotel room and was suppose to meet up to pass on the keys. The guy did arrive at AN but didn't see us at all! We worried about it all nite. It was 7am when we looked for another hotel room nearby and rented it for sat. That really sucks :( I was planning to party with them but I was only going for fri.
I visit the artist gallery and saw some really nice art and got some souvenirs. Chilled with Yama ppl for awhile and then head back to TCC to visit the dealers room. On the way I saw Mike, Courtney and the girl from JISA who was headed for dinner. Chatted abit and continue on to the dealers room. I was in heaven!!! XD All that anime, manga and stuffie! Lot of ppl were selling pocky too! There was sooo much I wanted to buy!! In the end I got all of Utena manga, vol 4 of XXXholics, vol 5 of Orion and vol 7 of Planet Ladder. I have to give up Rahxephon becuase I don't have enought money to buy it too T_T My goal for next year is to bring more then $100 so I can buy even MORE manga!!!! I was so sad because I had to choose what to leave behind :(!!!!
I stayed up all night watching anime. Yama was running the all night general anime room. Conviently the Yaoi room was right next door. I spent my time between both room and chilling out with yama ppl by the Go tables. Ah the yaoi room is so funny. This year they made it 18+ and they check for ID before letting you in. The police dropped by a couple of times too. However they first few times they did, the visual stopped working, the cd was still playing. When they got it to work again, the policemen drop by the 3rd time and the first thing he saw was hot steamy man sex on the wall. XD his facial expression was so funny! The whole room was laughing. His first word "I didn't know what this room was o.0!" I didn't notice him again after that but I was in the front and didn't look to the back. The room like to erupt into cheers,laughter and clapping whenever there "action" on the screen. This drew a lot of curious ppl most of them guys to our room. It was fun to laught at them.
The room was close at 8am. I chilled with yama ppl until I took the bus home arount 9:30. IT IS NOT A GOOD IDEA TO FALL ASLEEP ON THE BUS! Which I did. Good thing I woke up at Bramalea before the bus left T_T Since I don't have enought money to take the bus home from downtown brampton. I had like maybe 50cent left...T_T!
