1 + 0 = 2
That right my friends 1 + 0 can = 2! You're probably thinking this is totally illogical, but it can be logical! When you're using it to represent something illogical like love. I was reading this HP fanfic by Dulcinea which inspire me to make this post ^.^
Suppose a person was represented by 1. A simple equation for their romantic life would be 1 + X = ? X represent the person 1 would get involved with and ? is the relationship.
A person completely opposite would be represented by -1.1 + (-1) = 0 Making them an eternal pair which nothing can get in between them. This explain why opposite attracts.
Any attempt to multiply or divide by a second number would be doomed from the start. 1 * 1 = 11 / 2 = 0.5 So don't expect your partner to magically change after you get married. Yet simply adding yourselves to them would you will have more then what you had before.
Yet that's not always the case. Should 1 enter a relationship who's a momma's boy/daddy's girl or simply still in love with another the equation is 1 + 2 = 3 The problem with that is threes a company not a relationship.
What if 1 falls in love with a loner? There's all types of them. The lonely hero who stay away to kept love ones safe, the rebellious misunderstood punk, and the lonely heart whom was hurt in the past etc. I think they would be zero, a perfect circle, with no aperture through which one could enter. 1 + 0 =1 Which is a very unhappy one-sided love.
With that all said and done, we must remember this is the equation for love. Love is very strange and unpredictable and has a magical power over everyone. Love always changes what you see, you'll be looking at them through rose colour lens. Which is no wonder that some people would think a 2 is really a 1 or that through the magic of love, 0 would believe they are the 1. Therefore 1 + 0 = 2 because they believe they are 1 + 1 =2 And thus we get our happy ending.
