Maybe its BETTER to not truly know a person; not to be able to look at a person and see their COPE as plainly as that heart on the surgeon's table. i just saw that you're now a regional finalist!! like whoa. you are my hero.
au contraire to your first paragraph:
I think of new acquaintances as jellybeans. I can process surface traits and take a guess at the flavor, but I never really know what my taste buds are in for until I take a bite. Impressions from a distance matter little. The whole world could know of me, but it means much more to be truly known, to be tasted, chewed, swallowed, and digested.

thanks, nice hearing from ya! i know that you may never read this becuase i don't think replies to anonymous comments get 'return to sender' stamped on them. but yea deja vu eh? what a coinky dink. sorry i didn't put a citation beside it, you could sue me for plagiarism. ummm there are some things that i'd like to talk to you about if i ever get the chance so hopefully we meet up somewhere later on in our lives. til then, then.
