Carlos Delgado got career hits 2000 to 2003 yesterday. He could reach 500 HR and 500 2B next season, which should almost guarantee the Hall of Fame for him.
When Daniel mentioned Ichiro tying a record by "Willie", the only name that came to my mind was Stargell. But in fact it was Willie Keeler who had 8 consecutive 200-hit seasons (1894-1901). Wade Boggs had 7 consecutive 200-hit seasons (1983-1989).
