(no subject)
so I have the urge to update, but not a whole lot to update about. it's summer. i'm still doing summer things.
Burton Island annual vacation with the family was lovely, as always. The one day of rain was endured, and built character, i'm sure.
I have a week left at home...spending a hell of a lot of time thinking about how i should be packing up for school, but not much time actually doing any packing...
Also spending lots of time printing out transfer applications for fall 2006, after I have my associates degree from Simon's Rock. Printing out the applications makes me feel productive, but dosn't actually mean that I have to do anything other than press the print button and file the blank apps in a nice file box that my mother gave me. S'all good. So far the list is University of Chicago, Tufts, New School/Eugene Lang (Anyone who is familure with The New School family of schools, please tell me which school i should be applying for, it's all very confusing. New School Adult B.A. or Eugene Lang College?), Brandeis and American. Maybe GW too...donno. Larger schools in citys with good politics/international relations/economics programs and the poossibility of lots and lots of financial aid (which is why i have to apply to so many, and what will ultimatly make the decission for me.)
I miss my kevin. a lot. he was here yesterday, but i still miss him. i think i'm allowed.
so yeah. I think i'll put another dictionary in a box pretend it's packing...
and laura makes excellent chocolate chip cookies.
