Bobby could have easily caught the pillow as it was tossed at his head, but instead he let it hit him. There wasn't any fun in it, if you just caught the pillows. He looked down at the fluffy object in his hand and then looked up at Adrian. He was a bit stiff for his tastes, and reminded him way to much of Jean-Paul. Not completely a bad thing, but enough of one to keep him on edge. So when he focused on the pillow once more, he wasn't surprised to note that it was getting a lot colder.

He looked back up at Adrian and tossed the pillow/icecube back. See what the tight ass thought of that one!

That was entirely unexpected and it jolted Adrian where he sat. Bubastis, hearing the noise of iced-pillow making contact with Adrian's flesh, pawed herself back over to him and began to sniff the pillow.

Adrian's eyes were huge. He'd seen a lot during his lifetime, surely; Dr. Manhattan, for example, was certainly capable of illustrious and indescribable things. But he was not human. This boy appeared to be human, and that was what interested him the most.

"How on earth did you do that?"

"Trade secret." He sad while folding his arms across his chest. Adrian didn't seem to know about his little power, or not so little power, but that was cool. He didn't really want to go out and out himself. He liked his neck being collar free, thank you very much.

He relaxed back a bit and continued to watch the other man. His expression was just perfect, and he wished he had a camera.

Eeep sorry I took a thousand years I DIDN'T ABANDON THEM. buyveidt June 2 2009, 02:42:09 UTC
Adrian wasn't sure he enjoyed his expression being scrutized as such. He adjusted on the bed, then reached over to pick up the offending pillow and inspect it further. Solidified, turned into ice. That was hardly normal.

"I don't believe there are many trade secrets that have much to do with metahuman behavior," he muttered, placing the pillow back on the bed and leaving it to melt; if it planned on doing so, at least. He looked back up, catching Bobby's face and smirking very slowly. Oh yes, he was interested in this. Very interested.

"Have you always been able to do that?"

"Now who said anything about being "metahuman"?" He tilted his head to the side, and continued to grin at Adrian. The man's interest was about as amusing as getting Namor pissed. Until they were free to wonder around, he'd have to deal with it.

"Not always. But, close enough." He didn't blink or move his eyes from Adrian, as he reached out with his powers. He did love them sometimes, especially when he froze something. His powers worked in reverse too. If they didn't, half of New York City would be under water from his ice slides. "You don't get the point of this game, do ya? You're suppose to throw it back, not keep it."
