Planeswalking wasn't an exact science.

It was something that involved preparation, concentration, and a great deal of physical and mental effort- it wasn't like one could just 'walk down to the market to get a few items or zap oneself to the other side of a plane on a whim. In fact, planeswalking- if done without adequate preparation- was downright dangerous.

Chandra, barely awake, found herself in what appeared to be an empty hallway. She'd ignored (once again) Mother's warning to stay at the Keep and rest for a few days, maybe to "spend some time with Brannon- he burned down part of the kitchen making a snack, you know" or something, and could already tell she'd made a mistake. Her entire body ached, as if something had been trying to tear her limb from limb during her time in the Blind Eternities. She was thirsty, starving, and had somehow received a large gash on her forehead- likely from her rather undignified entrance. While she often enjoyed the ability to make an entrance, "crashing through the Aether with her physical form" wasn't high on the list of ways she preferred to do so.

She was exhausted.

...it was just supposed to be a quick stop on Regatha, and then off to find Ramaz. I'd have been fine, Chandra thought, more incensed that she'd lost the mad shaman's trail than at her current situation. She was able to gather enough energy to take a quick glance at her surroundings- a plane made entirely of metal? That can't exist-

-and then succumbed to the extent of the damage she'd done to herself. Before losing consciousness, Chandra hoped someone would find her.
