This night was the most fun we've ever had as band! The show was incredible as was the Steak N' Shake after party.

We got to Subculture at about 6:00.. when they told us to be there. So, we loaded in, got all of our stuff in order, said our hellos... and waited. It got to be 7:00, when the show was supposed to start and Gino (the sound guy) still hadn't shown up. So, we started getting our stuff ready, by the time Gino was there, all he had to do was set up the sound system, we made it nice and easy for him. :) we're nice. So Gino showed up and set up all of the sound, by this time about 100 kids had shown up, ready to rock their faces off! We played first. We played all of the usuals, though we didn't play No More Tears.. and we didn't have enough time to play Tra-Ja, but that's alright, it would have been sloppy anyway since we haven't practiced it, i still love that song though. Nick and Keith were skank/moshing it up for us, got the kids going, it was nice to play a show where kids can move around and stuff. We always feed off of that energy. Nothing went majorly wrong while we were playing, that's always nice. Overall, quality show.

Up next was Rick Johnson The Rock and Roll Machine. He's incredible. A one man band, accompanied by some sort of drum/rock machine. He's awesome check that shit out at www.rickjohnsonrockandrollmachine.com you won't be disappointed... Hold the Lettuce, Hold the cheese... awesome. He rocks harder than we do as an entire band.

After him was the Straight Mutes. They dressed up in suits and such, they looked like The Mighty Mighty Bosstones.. their music reminded me of them.. for some reason, it wasn't an obvious influence though. Good Ska band.

Next was our buddies MSC.. I love them, they rock so hard. That's really all I can say about them. I really like playing with them, they're really a fun band to watch, and they rock out for us, which is really cool of them. :) much love is sent their way.

We sold a bunch of T-shirts and CDs, it was a really good night for merch sales.

After the show EVERYONE involved in the show (i mean EVERYONE) went to the Elgin Steak N' Shake. A total of 43 people were there with the show.. we took over! Best Steak N' Shake party ever. Yes. That's all.
