ethiopian visa
ugh. I just love it when you call a consulate and the person that answers the phone is unable to answer a simple question of how much a visa costs!
If I get my visa before hand its 70 dollars and good for 2 years. This is unnecessary as I will probably never be going back to Ethiopia, and certainly not in two years' time.
I can get a one month visa on arrival at the airport for 20 dollars.
and on the recorded phone info, it says I can get a 3 month visa on arrival, but there's no mention of the cost and the person on the phone couldn't tell me. Despite a three month visa being mentioned on the recording, she said that if I was going to be there longer than a month I'd have to apply to the government for an extension!
She also couldn't tell me if I needed to bring a photo with me or if one would be taken there!
wah. just proves that governments around the world are just as incompetent as the ones here...
