50 days
50 days til I fly to Ethiopia. I still haven't dealt with my visa. I should call the embassy today if I can remember. Vaccines still are a couple weeks away. I'm not super concerned with getting things done for the trip since there's not much left to do.
But the future beyond Ethiopia is incredibly crazy!
Right now all that I know for sure is that I want to be with Patrick in Canada as soon as possible.
There are so many variables that is it impossible to do any sort of planning right now. In fact, the earliest I will know anything with any sort of certainty is when I'm actually already in Ethiopia. He might have a job back in Canada by then, which would at least give me the Where.
The How (both under which visa and the physicality of moving) are up in the air and are dependent on many other factors.
I would like to break my lease by March 1st and put my stuff into storage for a later date. Luckily I am able to put stuff in my step-dad's work basement for free, not that I'll have a ton of stuff after I get rid of everything I don't want anymore.
