Tennis in the morning...what could be better?
Because it's Marat Safin vs. Roger this morning, I had to get up early for this match. Woke up about an hour ago only to find the women's match on Rod Laver arena still going on. BLAH. But I did get to watch Jelena Dokic get a comeback win over Caroline Wozniaki. And then I got to see some brain scratching tennis over with Ivanovic and Alisa Kleybanova. OMG. Kleb had 3-0 in the second after winning the first and she blew it all and lost in the TB. So. Much. Pain.
Now Marat and Roger are playing. DAVAI MARAT! I'm hoping the match ends before I go to work...but I don't see it happening :-/
ETA: Well, what do you know. The match ended well before I needed to get to work. And was totally disappointed by the result. OK, so I kind of sort of saw it coming but, call it blind faith, I was hoping for a Marat victory. And when in the past I have been unable to get angry or hate on Federer, the tables turned today and I am full on pissed. Just everything Federer did made me angry. Even the heartwarming hug at the net didn't make me happy.
I know. I'm lame. But I wanted Marat to win damn it!
Sigh. /rant.
