Doing something

Jun 01, 2008 10:28

I spent the majority of yesterday inside. It was quite rainy in the morning and I was watching some tennis (Federer TRASHED Ancic. Made me sad but I'm sure the majority of tennis fans were happy) and during Sharapova's match and reading McEnroe's biography, I sort of drifted off into sleep.

I woke up a few times in between and noticed that the sky was clearer outside. But I just couldn't get myself up. Finally woke up and made dinner and sat in front of the TV again.

I am laziness personified on some days.

Then once my roommate got home, we went out to a local venue to see a local artist perform. Brought back memories of my college days when my friend and I went to Cowboy Monkey to watch local artists perform. It was fun to get out and do something. It was ridiculously warm in the building though...didn't help matters I was wearing a full-sleeve shirt. Since bars here aren't non-smoking I wore the clothing I didn't mind getting all smoky and gross. Turns out I had nothing to worry about since no one was smoking there. Hurrah!

It is a gorgeous day outside and I have a feeling I'll spend most of it indoors. I need to start playing tennis ASAP.
