What's the difference between a mountain and a mole-hill?

So, I finished the design for the flute shirts.

I made sure it was the shade of pink everyone wanted and that the other color used complemented the pink and still showed up when over lapped with the pink and all on top of black. The design was balenced accordingly so there was no "empty spaces" or "cluttered" areas. The script was elegent, yet legable. I added clusters of stars to compliment the writing and, again, maintain balence throughout. We had discussed this with the section a million times. We had established what we wanted. I verifyed the exact shade of pink numerous times. No one objected to anything, and the upperclassmen had seen my draft of the design before and knew basically what to expect.
And I was told whatever I came up with would be fine, because they all trusted my artistic ability. Yea.

So, I'm sick yesterday. When I'm feeling alright I get up and eat and then go edit the shirt design. (I know, those of you that read yesterday think I'm repeating myself, but it's comming...) I spend around an hour adjusting shades of pink, making stars, adjusting everything so it fits in a reasonable space...and I realize the shadowing on the word "Everest" is grey, and the words "flute section" are grey, and they overlap, so that wouldn't work...and for some reason I can't edit the shadowing (I think that's because I used too many formats) so, after I try a few things, I figure Webko can just leave that out on the screens. So, I make various footnotes so Megan and the crew at Webko know what to do with the shadowing and so, no one should have to worry about getting anything screwed up.
Everything should be fine. The design is finished. Megan took care of the orders. And the money. And calling Webko. And the back of the shirts. In fact...Megan had taken liberty over much of the project. Which was fine, I mean, I kept forgetting or dodn't have the time or didn't know what I was doing with the ordering process...so it was probably best Megan took over, right? All I had to worry about was the design on the front, which was really all that I knew for sure what I was doing with. So, I have it ready to give to Megan for today durring band. Yea.

I thought it would be cool to surprise all of the underclassmen with the final product, rather than show them the design ahead of time. This was my remaining portion of the project, I was the artist, I should be able to decide when it's unveiled, right? Yea.

So, I quietly call Megan over arter class and hand her the design and begin to explain to her that I thought we could surprise the underclassmen and keep it secret for now and then I went on to apologize for not being able to get rid of the shadowing on "Everest" but then explain that I wrote plently of footnotes on the page to describe what was intended for the design so she wouldn't have to worry about being confused by it or the Webko people being confused...and then...in mid sentence she wrinkles her nose at it and says, "Didn't we just want this is say 'Flutes'?"
So...what? The sntire section decided they wanted to to say "The Everest Flutes" rather than "The Everest Flute Section"? ...when was this? And what the hell difference does it make! And then she proceedes to call over all of the underclassmen..."Hey, didn't we just want this to say 'Flutes'?" And then they all walked over and had all sorts of opinions about it, rangeing from "Oh, that's nice!" to "I think it should say 'D.C. Everest Flutes'." ....
WHAT THE HELL!? &!*(#*)%!)*%$(%*#!*(^$#&%$@&$&*@$&*%#*&@$^!#%!@#!

FIRST OF ALL, it was not supposed to be unveiled until it was on the final product, which I had just explained to Megan.
SECOND OF ALL, who is she to tell me what the entire section wants and that I've done the shirts all wrong and should do them over?
THIRD, this wasn't her project to begin with and I simply let her take over because she was getting things done and seemed to know what she was doing and so I acted grateful about her taking over
FOURTH, she didn't even try to appreciate all the work I had put into it and the fact that I had done everything that I voulnteered to do
FIFTH, she didn't consider my feelings at all or how I'd feel if she told me I did it wrong the day before we were turning it in
AND SIXTH, she actualy had the nerve to bring up something so little and insignificant and something no one ever told me about and for some reason she thinks she has some controll over me and the entire project.

UHHHHHHHAAAARRRRGGGGG
