love the fall
and not just because i was born in the fall... i love the fresh crispness of the air, the lower humidity, the beautiful sunsets, the cooler nights, the changing of the leaves....
and i love being PRN! having days off when i want, working when i want.
i've been cooking a lot more lately, since i finally have the time and energy to stand at the stove and shop for ingredients. i know pov is definitely loving it...
my latest cooking quest is to develop more refined filipino recipes... make them less fatty, less soul-food like, and try to dress them up as though they were served at a classier restaurant. not high-dollar, but more like you would pay maybe $8-12 for an entree.
god, we are dog-sitting right now. my friend's lab mutt, who is just not that intelligent and very annoying. i guess i am just so used to pele, who is now 5 yrs old, very well-trained, and has manners. this dog definitely does not have manners. so pov and i put him through a doggy boot-camp this weekend -- trying to teach him to walk on a leash, sit, stay, and just stop being so damn annoying!!
i have to work tues thru thurs this wk. oh well. i could definitely use the $$. i also definitely need to get more PRN jobs at other places...
