augh...i really wanted to go out tonight but the only invite i got looked really lame (morning musume wannabes who fingerpaint..or something??) and i didnt want to call up these business i guys i meet at the clubs and be all HEY, DO YOU, LIKE, KNOW OF ANY COOL PARTIES, LIKE?!! so i'm saving my money and staying home doing absolutely nothing productive (but i did watch the newest ep of LOST..cool shiot).

this morning i did have a photoshoot... a mens shoot with a british model who is a friend of saera ( the photog). i borrowed clothes from my friend who designs a line called CavariA, a darkish casual line with the brand name tattooed EVERYWHERE on the clothes (seriously, yuck...but anyway...). we actually used the storage room in the basement of their press office and saera rented lights and shit but we didnt end up even using them. i bought a bunch of silver jewelry and colored lining material and made different accessories with it... we only had 3 looks, but i think they turned out REALLY nice, actually. i had to ask my classmate erina to do the hair and (very little) makeup again, and she seemed really nervous this time and hardly ever spoke a word... i mean, i guess i could have straightened his hair and put wax in it just as well, but it would put way too much work on my shoulders so i'm glad she was there. we all squished down into this small little storage space for 4 hours with dust and hooks everywhere, but i'm stoked i got to do it. i have one more i have all the clothes for, i just need the model, and another i would like to do soon as well... but it would be really nice to start getting some work soon!

last saturday i went and saw l'arc~en~ciel LIVE at the TOKYO DOME.... i met my host mom and sister from my HS days in nishinomiya at roppongi hills and the three of us plus two tokyo family members went out to eat and window shop... after that the three of us headed straight to the tokyo dome... it was raining and there were sooooo many people. my host mom bought a tour pamphlet, but i didnt buy anything because it was the "asia tour" and they had this camp CG dragon all over everything (but i did want the poster! i would have put it up in my bathroom next to the SMILE tour poster... but it was 1,000yen and i was/am totally broke). our seats were on the first level to the left side. we more close than far from the stage, but this is the tokyo dome so the band was still SMAAALLLLL... like, i didnt even bother looking at them and just watched the screens (which were also pretty small..HELLO! get bigger screens!). but anyway, the concert was AMAZING... since it was the capping off of their tour in asia, and they already did their AWAKE album tour, this was more of a trip down memory lane with a lot of oldie but goodie songs. ie honey, winterfall, snowdrop, shinshoku~lose control, kasou, LOVE FLIES, promised land, NIJI, etc.... and the guys were super GENKI...dancing all around and cracking jokes and acting stupid and just having a great time. at the SMILE tour last year they were so...blah...and hyde wasnt singing very well (as usual) but at this live, all of a sudden he could SING...and i'm seriously thinking to myself...who is this person, and DAMN, CAN HE SING!!! 0_0 but there were 60,000 screaming fans and the energy was just insane. i give it an A+++++++++ i still love laruku to death +_+

on monday i went to the FOTUS shop headquarters to interview the press lady for an article i'm writing... Fotus makes those crazy plastic cyber goth clothes you see advertised in kera every month. not really my bag (and i went dressed very 50s to the interview...heh) but i thought it would be interesting for the article. in fact, i already had the article written, but the press chick invited me to look at the stuff up close and talk to her and i thought it would be cool playing "journalist" so i went.... it was over in 15 minutes. the chick was super lethargic and i just asked a bunch of bullshit questions... it was kind of fun though. i did add two extra sentences to my article afterwards ^^;;

mmm...tuesday i worked, wednesday i went back to harajuku and bought accessories for today's shoot, thrusday... ooh... thursday i went to this mens exhibition fashion show at la foret that james was in. he put saera's and my name on the guest list and i when i arrived i was alone and just went right in and they ushered me to the front row! i was like...sweet... i put on my big anna wintour sunglasses and all of a sudden i hear my name being called.. i look over and there are four of my male classmates standing up against the wall... theyre all like...what the hell are you doing here, misha?! and why are you in the front row?!? and i'm just chuckling to myself because i have NO IDEA ... but i learn to go with the flow. anyways...im glad my classmates saw me because now they know DONT MESS WITH ME, HAHAHA *evil laughter*. seriously, if one graduate out of my year becomes a stylist, its going to be me..>_> MARK MY WORDS!!

in other (non)news, i have a bad feeling that im going to have trouble finding a decent place to live next year. i wrote to nikkenhome asking about an apartment and they wrote back right away, not caring that i was gaijin, but then they told me the place i wanted was run by yakuza(!) and the previous tenants didnt even last a year(!!) and the new tenants are the police(!!!!)..so i told them what i was looking for and that me and my roommate want to find a place together, and he's like...'its going to be really really hard...i dont think you can convince the landlords to rent a good room to you'...so now im all depressed and sad because i have me heart SET on moving to the sangubashi/minami shinjuku/yoyogi area next year. i refuse to live here another year!!

and as a final note, the newest issue of BRUTUS (japanese mens fashion) and italian VOGUE are AMAZING and everyone should flip through them PRONTO! fini.
