Zombies?!?!
The rumours of attacks are spreading.
Like lizbee at first I assumed that the tales were only malicious rumours but it's spreading. The first I heard of it was this post http://lizbee.livejournal.com/650948.html .

I have come home from college (in the pouring rain I might add), to find that the streets are simply full of the walking dead. Have taken all my knowledge of Zombie movies and carefully barricaded everything. I did have to get in the house through the back though. I am currently sending this message from my final stronghold.
As yet the house has not been breached, and I'm laying low power-wise - no lights, no radio. Nothing that would attract their attention.
I've also been playing Shaun of the Dead (the only zombie movie in the house) repeatedly on my computer to pick up tips.
I can hear them outside. there's one coughing below my window, or perhaps it's someone who's infected but not yet dead. It appears to be a slower process than I'd thought.
I'm taking the shovel and making a perimeter sweep. So far they're in the front, but haven't worked out how to get into the back, but I can't see that the gate'll stop them for long if they're determined. It almost seems that they don't know I'm here. I'm going to try and keep it that way.
I'm all alone. I'm just going to make sure I'm safe. I'll write back again later.
