Kindof a cop-out. Tomorrow I'll do better.

So Today's Poem isn't exactly a poem. It's a song. But it's a Song about a poem, and it's sort of poem-like...

Okay, I admit it, Today is kindof a cop-out, but I promise it's a really good song, and we'll be back to the poetry proper again tomorrow. I have no idea where you'd hear this song except on the CD I have, because I'm pretty sure it was never released by them at the time, or if it was it was the arse-end of a B-side, so you probably haven't heard it. I have no way of streaming (again), so I've uploaded to sendspace (again), and I hope you enjoy it.

Today's 'poem' is by Simon and Garfunkel, and it's called -

'A Poem on the Underground Wall'.

Share and Enjoy.

P.S. It's a Live recording, so there's a bit of chatter explaining how the song came to be beforehand. Which, since it's a .wma file, my glorious new software Audacity (I seriously recommend it by the way) doesn't like to play with, so I can't edit it out.

P.P.S. There's a meme I want to get going again, an 'Ask 5 Questions' meme, so I invite you to ask me five questions, which I'll answer in my next post, and I'll ask you five questions also, which you can take back to your journals, along with the following header. -

1. Leave me a comment saying anything random, like your favorite lyric to your current favorite song. Or your favorite kind of sandwich. Something random. Whatever you like.
2. I respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
3. You update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be asked, you ask them five questions.
