I was on the 18:05 but was delayed in leaving - points have failed between New Cross and Lewisham yet again. When will they fix that? Everything is going to start getting back normal again now because before, everything was being done for the Olympics. Now that isn’t the case. As always, the emails make no sense. I have attached them for you to see (above). The second email says UPDATE but tells you no further information. +Plus it is a load of "rubbish" about trains effected as I am on one that isn’t on the email.
Train is busier and getting moreso - it is sad that everything is back to normal, until the Para-Olympics.... A lady sitting further down who has been whittering away on her phone to what I presume is her child, about going to buy a travel card. I don’t know why people need to have these conversations at the tops of their voices - Lynne is on the other end of the phone and who must be as deaf as we all are now. London Bridge is marginally heaving, but I suppose as we are back to normal and the mass-livestock transportation is under-way.
This morning 'The Tweeds' are back - no doubt just talking about the Opening ceremony as they are so far behind everyone else. I didn’t watch the Closing Ceremony, as it was going to finish very late and I didn’t want to stay up and watch it all, or have to tear myself away from it. It has been recorded so I can watch and weep in my own time, and this way it means that the games haven’t finished.
