The winds, they are a'changin
So I took a break for a long time from Diplomatic Piracy, in case you guys didn't notice (actually, I'm having a hard time with fanfiction in general right now; can't quite work up the energy to write anything but ho ho things do change . . .). The reason was not because the fanfic did not have a plot and I had to make an elaborate chart to figure out how to resolve the whole thing. In fact, it was because the whole thing had a plot and I hated it.
Yes, that's right, I hated the plot to Diplomatic Piracy. It was stupid, the end was a cop-out, it had about 40000 loose ends, and I really, really just hated it and was dreading writing it.
BUT NO MORE.
I have been brewing a different plot for quite some time now. None of the already-written chapters would have to be changed. It's tighter, faster, and - I think - about 10000 times more awesome. Instead of 1 epic battle there's going to be several. And there will be explosions and people flying in the air and more explosions and stuntmen and everything. EPIC.
So yeah, just thought you all would want to know that, and that chapters are going to be coming more frequently now, since I'm not dreading writing them. The next chapter in particular is going to be fu-un. Until then though, enjoy the last chapter:

Oh, and the collab chapter is getting finished tonight, no ifs ands or buts. I'm sick of feeling guilty about not sending it back. :P
