Psych studies
I had a psychology study today (they really like to use me as a subject . . .). I suspected something was up when they sent out about 5849326849 e-mails making sure I would be there on time. And boy, was something up.
Basically, I looked at porn for AN HOUR.
Yeah, that was the study. They hooked me up to all these electrode things and a heart monitor and whatnot to measure my brain waves and reactions and stuff. Then they put me in front of a computer and said "You may see some graphic or erotic images - is that okay?" And here I am thinking it could not be that bad. BUT OH NO. I was wrong. They showed these like, "neutral" pictures too, so it was like "lightbulb, man on a boat, couple in the throes of coitus . . ." OMG IT WAS WEIRD.
But the best part was how I fell asleep lol. What can I say? The pictures were boring, the room was quiet and I was alone in a comfy chair . . . It happens. XD Srsly though, I think all the slashfic and art has desensitized me. :D You guys.
Afterwards I had to go to all my classes and stuff with the stupid conductivity gel in my hair. -.- It sucked. But whatever. Today was the Day of Minor Inconveniences and Annoyances, so it was pretty much par for the course. But thankfully it was a gorgeous day outside so I maintained a cheerful disposition lol.
Now I plan to finish reading history, wash the stupid gel out of my hair, and maybe, if luck is on my side (it hasn't been thus far today), I will get to write some fanfic. :P Fingers crossed.
