Winter break was... short. At least my schedule is nowhere near as brutal as it was last term.

I HAVE TO GET UP IN AM TOMORROW WHAT IS THIS TRAVESTY.

... wow, fail, lj locater, I'm about 75 miles south of Portland.

Me: *getting pizza for lunch in celebration of first day of school* Ooooooh, they have a new beer on special. Why not.

Beer: *has alcohol content like whoa*

Me: Wow, the world is... pretty.

In other words, I am in excellent shape to start my seminar class. You know. The one that requires lots of talking.

To whom it may concern:

I had four hours of sleep, one vocabulary test that was insanely hard, and one essay exam today. All on no food whatsoever. Therefore, in celebration of doing okay on the vocab test and very well on the essay exam (I think, anyway) I am taking the rest of the day off and not feeling in the slightest way guilty about it.

I finally decided that further jeopardizing my health for the chance of a passing grade in my WWII history class isn't worth it. I wrote my teacher and told him about the situation, which... well, when I objectively stand back and look at what I was facing this term, it's amazing I made it through at all with decent marks. I'll probably get a B+ in ( Read more... )

So I don't think I did very well on my WWII history final. Oh well. Nothing to be done at this point.

In better news, my German instructor is letting me turn in my homework late, considering the computer program I do it on malfunctioned. That should bring my grade up to maybe a B+.

So many papers, god.
