What I did today

Dec 20, 2010 23:36

I was a busy bee.

- Sent off my wedding dress to be preserved.
- Got a bagel and coffee for breakfast (OM NOM NOM).
- Got some more frames and envelopes for Christmas presents.
- Saw that I got an e-mail about a RIM job! OMG!
- Saw that I for an e-mail from a recruiter about another job (not as exciting as the RIM job, but haaaaay!)
- Fared the the post office to send off Christmas presents to most out of town family and send out most of the rest of the Christmas cards.
- Set up an phone interview with the RIM dude for tomorrow morning! OMG!
- Made myself a soup out of leftover stir fry and rice noodles. OM NOM NOM.
- Watched some Voyager
- Peeled an orange
- Did some couponing
- Loaded up the dishwasher and started it
- Did some laundry
- Cleaned the bathroom
- Cleaned the bedroom (like, for the first time since we got married 3 months ago, lol).
- Made spaghetti with egg and chicken nuggets
- Brushed up on stuff I'm probably going to get asked about in the telephone interview. Multi-threading and refactoring sound fun!
- About to go to bed.

I found myself wanting to do hardcore research on things. Like, the military tactics of Sherman in the Civil War, the politics of women in the military, the wisemen,... refactoring in Java. lol I should go back to school. Of course, when I was actually IN school, you couldn't make me do research like that without me kicking and screaming. I guess it's different if you research stuff you WANT to learn about versus a topic that has been imposed upon you. Or maybe this is just a phase.
