Woe and mow

So last week I suddenly realized, hey, I can't remember the last time I had a cold. Rock on, immune system! Immune system apparently high fived itself and then took that as permission to go on vacation, because now I've got the lurgy, alas. And we're still in full blown crazy season as daycamps overlap with the "balanced calendar" school year, ( Read more... )

work, stray kitty, lawn mower, rl

I'm not good a hunkering down, (I tend to freeze up and panic like a chicken with my head cut off), but I have learned to let the least important ones slide until I have time and the energy to HANDLE the situation ( ... )

I'm in triage mode right now - critical tasks first, vacuuming the carpet, entirely optional! (perk of living alone ^_~) I remember having a college workload though - don't know if I could handle it now.

So far so good as far as not running over the cord. We'll see if I get complacent, though.

Lady who is taking him is still very excited to get him. He's staying with me mainly so he can socialize with other kitties and friendly doggies - it's better for kittens to be with mom and littermates until at least 8 weeks (or even longer if possible) so they can learn kitty manners, how to not bite too hard when playing, etc.

Head down, keep coloring. Urgh. ::HUGS!::

Haha fun with fuzzar! <3

We had an electric w cord for years, I think once you get used to it it's fine, as you're already finding... :)

I was only allowed to mow once, long ago. I think there was kind of a lot of "well, those flowers needed trimming anyway, right?" going on, so... ::taps forefingers together::
Yay for easier starting!

Yeah, as I suspected, I do not thrive under military style management >_> *snuggles in*

Kitten is keeping us all sane! I take him to work and he snuggles up and purrs and licks everyone's necks. Boss was using him for therapy between frustrating phone calls ^^

Yep, cord is no biggie, and any hassle is well worth the trade off of no emissions ^_^
Whoops, oh dear! XD Flowers do need an occasional trim though, helps strengthen their roots *nods* I was so small as a kid (and a girl no less!), mom didn't want to let me mow, either, so it was always a point of rebellion for me to prove I could do it.

Definitely keep an eye on the extension cord. XD Michelle had an electric mower and I think she killed like, three extension cords that first summer. She could've bought the battery version for what she paid in extension cords...

Yikes, I'll keep that in mind! It's a bright yellow cord, but I can envision getting careless once the novelty wears off.
