In your world, are there any cures, let's say-- to commonly fatal illnesses?

Let's say, just for example; tuberculosis.

I do have them. I made sure to get plenty of medications to treat whatever might come up in my stay here. I'm not an expert on the disease, but even if they can't give a complete cure, it'll be enough to make a life comfortable and much longer than what they'd otherwise have.
