With everything else happening here, has everyone forgotten that two people have been murdered in recent months? The police don't seem to care enough to even warn the residents here to be careful, not do they seem to be taking measures to investigate and find the killer. Perhaps it's only because this threat is slightly more obvious, and one they can supposedly stop. It's not like they've any idea whom they're looking for in terms of the recent murders, after all.

Well, most people are born completely lacking in any special powers, but some can, for example, sense the feelings of everyone around them. Others deal with demons or other creatures from worlds connected to the human realm in order to gain abilities. Demons also interfere with the world if they feel like it. And if someone dies with intense regrets or a strong connection to the world, they can be giving a second life as a shinigami, one who collects the souls of those who don't die when they're meant to, and do that until they deal with their regrets.

How interesting. I think Muggles have a word for that. Can't for the life of me recall it, though.
