Happy New Year
Hubby had a high school band reunion gathering this week, it was after one of my longest days so far at work, I came home. He had fun, which was great, he has an amazing group of friends from HS. I'm thankful for my one lifelong buddy - we're coming up on 30 years this summer. Hubby said he was sorry he didn't get to show me off -- I am constantly amused and thankful for him. :) We donated our hand-me-down furniture bits to a family starting from zero last summer. Thanks to my boss we were able to Ikea stock the guest room with a shelving unit, desk, and dresser. Nigel got a cat tree thanks to Amazon lightning deal/prime that is in the guest room. We also grabbed a groupon new comforter set too. So he's got lots of fun ahead of him. We are lounging and relaxing today, we do a lot of that.
We have a new Brunch Brigade that is good fun. Looking forward to a monthly gathering of old and new friends - all drama free. Nice to finally be at that place.
