I miss those days too. But, alas, as we grow up, those days fade, and we drift into a period of raging emotions and sexual energy. It's not your fault boys are stupid. We can't control how we see things sometimes. and sometimes, even though we know the truth, we still choose that illusion, rather than reality, because the illusion is far more appealing to us. It's not your fault. it's ours for wanting more out of the situation than there may actually be. And we have to come to terms with that at some point, and accept what is for what is, and let the future bring what it may bring.

Don't get hung up on us boys. We're too silly and not worth the heartache. Your concern is much appreciated, but we'd rather see you, the girl, happy in the reality we don't care for than hurt and upset in or by the illusion we've fabricated.

Well, at least those are my feelings on the situation. You're not horrible and rotten. You're a good person, and a good friend, who is stuck in the same muck of growth and relationships that everyone else is in. You'll get through it. Just remember that there are others there willing to give you a boost when you need it.

Now smile dammit. A pretty face like yours doesn't deserve to be unhappy. ^_^
