Thanks to SneakishFrog for these 5 random questions. I will try to answer them. If you want five questions, let me know.
1. You're given the chance to either live on the moon in an experimental colony, or go back in time and live how your ancestors lived. You'll be gone for 20 years, and when you come back you're guaranteed to have stable housing and you can have contact with only one person during the time you're gone. Where do you choose to go and why? Who do you choose to remain in contact with?
I would go back in time and live how my ancestors lived. Even though it would be cool to go to the moon and live in an experimental colony, I would feel lonely out on the mood with no way to travel around the world. I'd rather be on earth, but experiencing an entire different culture and way of living, especially if it's going to be for 20 years! I'd stay in contact with Dan, because he'd appreciate hearing my stories, and I'd miss him so much.
2. Someone says, "Adena, I'm in love with you, but only because of your ______." What would be most flattering? What would be most insulting? It can be a physical characteristic, a personality quirk, a material possession, anything.
The most flattering would definitely be "your intelligence." I don't think anyone has ever told me that because, quite frankly, I'm not that smart, but it would certainly be the most flattering. The most insulting would probably be "there's just so much of you to love."
3. A monkey with a broken leg has appeared on your doorstep. What do you do first?
I would try to get it to come in my apartment, lock it in the bathroom, and call 911.
4. If you were allowed to go back and change one year of your academic life at DePaul, what would you change? Would you take different courses or change your major?
Hmm. This is a hard one. I think I'd probably change sophomore year. I should have switched my major then because I pretty much figured out costume design wasn't going to work, but I was too stubborn and scared to change it. I wish during this year I started on the Theatre Studies route and took some solid graphic design classes and maybe even programming classes to explore switching out of The Theatre School or actually planning on getting a double major. I also feel like I missed out on a chance to really bond with the Theatre Studies students by being a design major for two years and then switching.
5. Someone puts a spell on you! You are now stuck inside a) a painting, b) a novel, or c) a Youtube video. What would be the best option? What would be the worst?
Wow, this is a tough one. I think I'd like to be stuck inside the painting A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte. I'd love to be wearing those beautiful dresses with a parasol in hand, taking a stroll in the park. However, if the being made of dots thing is going to hurt, I'll skip it. The worst? I think being stuck in a Rick Roll YouTube video would be the worst.
