It's so pretty outside when a summer storm is blowing in, especially during the late afternoon and evening. Everything sways in the wind and the dark, rain-thickened clouds chase after the setting sun with just enough daylight sky inbetween to present a sharp contrast. I guess I'm weird, but it makes me feel like I'm more alive, like all my senses are sharper and everything is more real. Maybe it's a natural high? Tension builds up as the storm does, and then when the rain finally begins to fall I feel carefree, as if all my worries have been released into the air.
The first seven days of July have been good ones, except for missing you.
