My List of Read/Reading Mangas 0-M

Jul 12, 2020 17:24

As many of you on my f-list may know, or if you don't you will now, I am a really big fan of manga.  And so I just needed a place to list what mangas I have read, am reading, will read.

They're listed in alphabetical order for the most part with author(s), and noted if they're completed or uncompleted, reading, how many chapters it has if completed, a little summary of the story if I feel like it or I'll just take the one off of OM, and I'm doing stars too!  And I leave extra notes for ones that I really like.

- Mangas are rated to a max of 5 stars.  Rated on artwork, story line, whether or not I cried at the end, and various things.
- The incomplete/complete is based off of onemanga.com.
- If it is incomplete and doesn't have 'reading' then it just means that I've probably lost interest in it for now.
* Denotes that it was a summary off of OM.  I take no credit for writing it.

I'm always open to questions if a manga is worth reading or not.  And please recommend me some that I should read!  Because I'm more of a mainstream jump type girl with a side of seinen manga.  I need to read more Shoujo and other genres, so if you know any then drop a comment or tweet me on Twitter.  Anything that you think is good or is not on this list is okay with me.  I have all summer to do this.

07 Ghost - Amemiya Yuki & Ichihara Yukino - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★
The story line is really different with the priests and all that jazz.  I'm a fan of the artwork and one of the priests. Can you guess which one?  If you ever get the chance to then this story is a must-read.

Ability Shop - Tashiro Tetsuya - Complete - One Shot - ★★★
Have you ever felt inept at everything that you do?  Well, the abiliy shop can change all that, but just for the price of part of your lifespan.  It teaches a valuable life lesson.  Worth checking out if you get the chance.

Absolute Boyfriend - Watase Yuu - Complete - 33 Chapters - ★★★★
I thoroughly enjoyed this story from beginning to end that I even watched the drama.  Which is amazing, might I add.  Although I think that I remember the drama's events more so than the actual manga's.  But the whole robot boyfriend concept is interesting and very worth reading.

Addicted to Curry - Funatsu Kazuki - Incomplete - ★★★
I kind of skipped around in this manga, so I don't exactly know how good it is.  It's just not my kind of thing that I would normally just pick up and read.

Aiko Desho! - Kazumasa Ooi - Incomplete - Reading - ★★
To tell you the truth, I had to go back to OM and find out what this was about.  It's a Ronin, which is a student that failed? the previous university exam and he works part-time at the kindergarten that his aunt runs.  And he meets Aiko, which dotes on him a bit too much.

Akaboshi - Ibun Suikoden - Amano Youichi - Complete - 24 Chapters - ★★★★
I've only read the first few chapters of this, but from what I have read, this story is very worth completing.  And since it's just 24 chapters, it's like watching a Korean drama.  Nice and short~  The story takes place in the Song Dynasty of China and about outlaws.

Akagi - Fukumoto Nonuyuki - Incomplete - Reading - ★★
I often rate manga because of artwork as well.  This one was quite simple in it's art.  But I guess you don't really need amazing artwork in a story like this.  The gambling story line was okay, but I'm not too much of a fan of Mahjong, so I may or may not finish it.  It depends if I have the time.

Akazukin Eliza - Kano Yasuhiro - Complete - One Shot - ★★★
If anyone is familiar with the classic child's tale Little Red Riding Hood, then just forget about it because this is very different from what we're all used to.  Little Red Riding Hood packs quite a punch in here.  Worth reading, good artwork~

Akumetsu - Yoshiaki Tabata & Yugo Yuuki - Complete - 162 Chapters - ★★★
I stopped reading this around chapter 100 or so because I got caught up with other mangas.  It's an interesting story, but not my style.  The main character kills because of his own view of justice.  May finish up in the future.

Amatsuki - Takayama Shinobu - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★
Excellent story, amazing art and not your usual historic manga.  And the main character's name is Tokidoki, so I just had to read it.  And because I'm really such a fangirl for historic Edo-period manga.  I would totally fail history to be able to go into the high-tech history museum that brought the characters to this other world.

Ann Cassandra - Hifumishi Gorou & Amashi Gumi - Complete - 8 Chapters - ★★★
A nice and short story about predicting the future and trying to stop that future from happening.  But with every action, there are negatives to it.  I enjoyed this story, so it's worth checking out.

Ao no Exorcist - Katou Kazue - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★★
Satan indeed did have children and his name happens to be Rin.  But his son was raised by a priest/exorcist, so will he be able to use his son as he had thought?  One of my favorites mangas that I look forward to releases every month!

Apple - Komi Kaoshi - Complete - One Shot - ★★★★★
This has got to be one of my favorite one shots ever written.  The main character has the ability to turn into and living thing possible.  The government's constantly after him, so he fights them off everyday before he gets to even eat his breakfast.  He is supposedly a very important part of saving the earth for his ability.  Greatly recommended!

Are You Alice? - Ninomiya Ai & Katagiri Ikumi - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★
It's an interesting concept.  I really hope that I get the chance to read the chapters that have been coming out lately.  Alice is usually always a girl, so it's nice to see a guy Alice.

Area no Kishi - Igano Hiroaki & Tsukiyama Kaya - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★
Nice soccer manga.  I love that there's a bit of drama written within it, so it makes it more interesting.

Bakuman - Ohba Tsugumi & Obata Takeshi - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★★
I've been following this manga ever since it's first chapter and I was totally hooked.  It's a manga about two aspiring middle schoolers becoming mangaka.  The authors might ring a bell if any of you have read Death Note already.  Excellent storyline, amazing art and the relationships between the characters are so adorable!  If you haven't read it yet, then you should totally do it.  This is one of those mangas where there seems to be more text than others, but it's great.

Barairo My Honey - Ohmi Tomu - Complete - 15 Chapters - ★★
It's a pretty good story.  Not my usual cup of tea, but tigers and tiger-tamers together can make quite a good relationship.

Barajou no Kiss - Shouto Aya - Incomplete - ★★
Anise was basically your normal girl whose father happened to be away and she was given a rose choker as a child from him.  It's supposed to be a protective charm, but when if it's ever taken off, she will be punished.  But hey, I wouldn't be complaining if every time I kissed a card a pretty hot guy popped out.

Bartender - Joh Araki & Nagatomo Kenji - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★
* The story of the Ryu Sasakura and Eden Hall, a small cocktail bar in the Chiba area of Tokyo, where troubled customers come for the "glass of the gods", which with Ryu's assistance helps them to resolve their often highly emotional problems.  This story is very worth reading.  It's easy to relate to some of the problems that pop up.

Beach Stars - Morio Mashiro - Incomplete - ★★
Beach volleyball ecchi manga.  The girls do not need to be drawn so sexually enhanced, but I guess the author takes joy in that.  It's an okay story.  The main character does develop quite nicely.

Beelzebub - Tamura Ryuuhei - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★
It's random.  Our main character is Oga-kun, whom happens to be the Ishi High's greatest and scariest delinquent.  He happens upon a man floating in the river one day and the man splits in two and a baby boy is found on the inside.  Oga then becomes the kid's dad.  Worth reading~

Billion Princess - Yu Jia Yan - Incomplete - ★★
I've only read the first two chapters of this.  I'm not entirely impressed at all, but that' just my opinion.  I think the story line is so overused.  But let's hope that things will work out for Bai-Yao.

Bitter Virgin - Kusunoki Kei - Complete - 32 Chapters - ★★
* Suwa Daisuke is the ladies man of his small town high school, and he has his eye on most every girl, except for one.  Aikawa Hinako isn't his type, but when he overhears a deep dark secret of hers, he find himself thinking of her more and more.  Also not one of my favorite romance stories.  The ending was okay, but like I said, it's just okay.

Black Cat - Yabuki Kentaro - Complete - 185 Chapters - ★★★★
Train Heartnet thought that when he abandoned the secret organization called Chronos he was home free to live his life as he wanted.  But as long the organization and it's enemies exist then he'll always have to come back.  Because a black cat will always come back to it's home, no matter how long it has been away. I greatly recommend you to read this!

Blazer Drive - Kishimoto Seishi - Incomplete - ★★★
The artwork may seem familiar to you if you have read Naruto.  That's because this is that author's younger brother.  He may not be as talented and popular as his older brother, but the story is okay and I see a lot of potential in him.

Bleach - Tite Kubo - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★★★
Amazing from the very first chapter.  I hardly think that I have to even give a summary because it seems as though most of you on my f-list have already heard of it.  Ichigo Kurosaki is quite an unlucky boy, but I guess it's totally his fate to become a shinigami.  When I was obsessed with only this manga for a period of time, I always wished that I would become a shinigami like Ichigo.  I've switched biases in this manga who knows how many times.  But for now my three top are Hisagi, Byakuya and Urahara.  Whoever has not read this manga or watched the anime should make it their top priority!

Bride of the Water God - Mi-Kyung Yoon - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★
An excellent story, with even more amazing artwork.  The main character of the story is Soah, whom is the most beautiful girl in the village.  She is sacrificed to the water god in exchange for rain.  I totally would not mind being sacrificed a million times over if each time I could be rescued by this certain god.  The drama and love lines in this is just very Korean dramaish, but I guarantee that you will love it once you read it. Google it to read because OM doesn't host it anymore.

Cage of Eden - Yamada Yoshinobu - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★
One of those mangas where a bunch of kids are trapped on an island with no way out, and they have to depend on each other to survive.  But it seems that this island doesn't want it to work out that way.  Only the strongest will survive to protect the others.  Try reading it when you get the chance to.  There's a bunch of old monsters (dinosaurs) that pop out every chapter.

Case Closed (Detective Conan) - Aoyama Gosho - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★★
An excellent mystery/adventure story by Gosho.  He's like Japan's best resident mystery writer in the history of mystery books.  This doesn't just appeal to kids, but all mystery book novel lovers.  So put down your Agatha Christie and pick up any volume of Case Closed.  I can assure you that you'll like it.

Chii's Sweet Home - Konami Kanata - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★
An adorable story of a lost kitty that is taken in by a young couple whom has a little toddler.  I haven't read too much of it, but from what I have read I recommend to everyone.  It's chapters are short and sweet.  The art is just cute as well!  The kitty seems to go on many little adventures too.  And the best part is that they're all full color pages!

Chrome Shelled Regios - Missing Mail - Amagi Shuusuke & Kiyose Nodoka - Incomplete - ★★★
* One city named Czerni is a self-contained school in which freshman Reifon Asuseifu has just enrolled.  Reifon reluctantly joins the 17th martial Arts Studues Unit led by thrid-year student Nina Antoku and embarks on a series of adventures.  The art is drop-dead gorgeous, but maybe it's just my lack of interest so I don't really know what happened in this story after chapter 4.  But it's pretty decent.  So check it out.

Cowa! - Toriyama Akira - Complete - 14 Chapters - ★★★★
It's a cute story by the writer of DBZ.  An amazing series, so you should totally check that out.  The little vampire kid is in search of a medicine that will cure the people in his little hometown.  They happen to be monsters I believe.

D.Gray Man - Katsura Hoshino - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★
Allen Walker is an exorcist whose job is to exorcise the world of Akuma.  Him and the other apostles must work together to defeat the Akuma and it's creator the Earl.  I really liked the story line but then after she went to Jump Square I think her style went a little weird.  But that's just my opinion.  It's still a great read, but maybe I'm just not in love with his arc even though it's very Kanda-centric.  Still check out this series when you get the chance.  You won't regret it!

Deadman Wonderland - Kataoka Jinsei & Kondou Kazuma - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★
Ganta Igarashi was just a normal kid until his classmates were all killed by a Crimson man and the blame put solely on him.  He's then taken to Deadman Wonderland, which is a prison for these special people in these situations.  It gains a power that will help him in the long run and will be forced to use it even though it doesn't want to.  I'm in love with the art.  The story gets better as it goes on and this is another must-read.

Dear My Girls - Kim Hee Eun - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★
This story is by a Korean author.  The art style is really pretty and the story will be familiar to those that have already read Little Women.  It's a sweet story.

Death Note - Ohba Tsugumi & Obata Takeshi - Complete - 110 Chapters - ★★★★★
Light is a straight A student and already basically has his incredible future set out for him.  But the problem is that the world bores him.  He happens upon a death note that was dropped by a shinigami one day and his life changes forever.  I was blown away by the art and it's an excellent story line.  Although I did get a little bored after a certain character's death so I stopped reading.  I should finish up this story sometime this summer.  You have to read this story!

Defense Devil - Youn In-Wan & Yang Kyung-Il - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★
When you die, it's the end, right?  Well, in this universe every thing's different.  You can get the chance to come back to life if you meet the right guy.  This lawyer is one that will defend you in exchange for the devil essence that surrounds your soul after dying.  The story line seems a little weird, but it's a good one.  I wasn't into the whole lawyer concept at first, but this is one story that you have to read.  The comedy is great as well.

Di(e)Ce - Saki Otoh & Yamamoto Kana - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★
* Naruse Kazuki and Koutake Haruki are on the advanced track of Seitoukou Academy. Though they are not connected by blood, these two whose faces are so similar coincidentally have their 16th birthdays on November 11th. However, on that fateful anniversary, the cogs of fate have begun to turn. A game involving both their destinies has now begun!  Good art, great story line.  It's a different kind of story, but very worth reading.

Dogashi Kaden - Hamada Kosuke - Complete - 13 Chapters - ★★★★
I really like these types of sports mangas.  I'm a very picky reader when it comes to sports mangas.  Don't know why, but I am.  The artwork is just incredible and the inspiration from this story is awesome.  Click and read it when you get the chance to.

Dogs - Miwa Shirow - Complete - 6 Chapters - ★★★★★
This is the prequel to the real story Dogs - Bullets and Carnage.  It tells the backstories of all the main characters and I'm just in love with Heine!  I advise that you read this before the series because there's a lot of important points that you need to know.

Dogs - Bullets & Carnage - Miwa Shirow - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★★
This is basically the continuation of Dogs.  Badou and Heine are fighting in the underground again and things are about to get a lot more complicated as they get more involved.  This has got to be one of my favorite stories ever, so please try it out when you get the chance!

Dogs - Hardcore Twins - Miwa Shirow - Complete - One Shot - ★★★
The twins in the story.  It's just a little side-story.  I'm not too big a fan of the girls, so if you don't read it then it's okay because it's not that important.  But it's okay.

Dolls - Naked Ape - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★
It's a pretty good crime story, with some great art.  These cops aren't really your everyday ones.  And they have permission to kill criminals even if they haven't been captured yet.  It's to relieve some of the pressure on the overcrowded prisons.

Dragon Ball - Akira Toriyama - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★
Son Goku's one of the last Saiyans in the world and he bumps into Bulma one day in search of the 7 magical Dragon Balls.  Legend says that they can grant any wish.  I don't see why it should be on 1000manga, but a true classic.  Read it!

Emerging - Hokazono Masaya - Complete - 22 Chapters - ★★★
A pretty good medical manga.  The story takes place in present time Japan where a new virus has been found.  A man has exploded in the middle of Shinjuku and the virus is spread all around.  It's nice and short, so it won't take long to read.  I liked it, so try it out sometime.

En Passant - Yuzunoki Taro - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★
I've only read a little of it, so I can't say too much, but I've enjoyed what I've read so far.  This king of pessimists is going to have his life changed drastically, but is it for the better?

Fairy Tail - Mashima Hiro - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★★
Another excellent shonen manga!  Fairy Tail has got to be the mage guild that destroys the most cities, gets in the most fights with other guilds and probably has most of the powerful mages across the land.  Maybe that's why they have the most problems.  These mages have all different kinds of powers.  The power to create fire, ice, air and even summon celestial spirits.  This story is a must read from Mashima!

First Girl - Chiho Saito - Complete - 18 Chapters - ★★★
* A Japanese girl is sold off to a South American business tycoon, who takes her away to this foreign land. Here, he seduces her, and the two slowly fall into a love trap. But while this occurs, another force interrupts the two's love-web. A violent revolution ignites within the country and the two are soon separated.  I'm really impressed with how the ending of this story turned out.  It's like replaying a part of history, but focusing more on the romantic side.

Flags - Ueda Satoshi - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★
* Ouka is the great empire that rules over 1/3 of the world. To prevent conflicts from the other countries, they hold the battle competition once in every 8 years. In this competition, 5 candidates, known as "Patriots", from each countries are to battle against each other and the winners will be granted with fame and honor. This story follows Kurou, the boy who walks the same footsteps as his father to become the strongest patriot, along with his team...   I enjoyed what this mangaka has put out so far, but I wonder what happened to the scanalation team.  It's a pretty decent story, so you should try it out.

Fullmetal Alchemist - Hiromu Arakawa - Complete - 108 Chapters - ★★★
I'm pretty sure that a lot of people are familiar with this story, so I'm not going to give a summary.  I've only read the first 40 chapters or so, so I'm giving it 3 stars because that's now the story's been for me.  But I've heard a lot of good feedback, so I'll probably complete it soon.

Gamble Fish - Aoyama Hiromi & Yamane Kazutoshi - Incomplete - Reading - ★★
Not my favorite story.  I was just interested because the kid was a gambler.  I read the first 10 chapters and skipped 20 in the middle.  The arc that I'm currently reading is pretty decent, so maybe I do recommend this.

GE - Good Ending - Sasuga Kei - Incomplete - ★★★
* Good Ending follows the main character Utsuki 's interactions with Kurokawa Yuki, a member of the school tennis team, in order for Utsuki to confess his feelings to the captain of the tennis team.  But there's always that twist that the girl whom helps you starts to fall for you and things just seems to all go wrong.

Gekka No Kimi - Ako Shimaki - Complete - 29 Chapters - ★★★
I liked this romance story a lot.  And that's saying a lot because I don't normally read romance at all.  Hikaru is the manga's main character who is a bit of a playboy, but the one that he loves is the one that he can't have because he's the emperor's son and the woman in question is his father's new wife.  He was the greatest playboy in all of history, but in his next life it's the complete opposite.  Read it!

Gintama - Hideaki Sorachi - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★
This has got to be one of the best mangas in the world!  It's so random and but yet within all of that random there is s story.  There's drama, action, adventure and even those sad moments where you can't help but cry. This is shonen at it's best.  Many may disagree that it should be seinen for all of those dirty puns that kids certainly won't get, but who would know better than the Jump editors themselves.  I've been moved to tears so many times from this.  And Gintama doujinshis are some of the best ever.  If you ever want to read good doujinshi, then just leave me a comment.  I'll recommend some nice ones.  Sakata Ginoki is your main character who fought in the war against the amanto many years ago.  But now he's just a freelancer who will take on any odd job that comes his way.  My favorite manga after One Piece.  Read it, you won't regret it!

Gold Rush 21 - Fujiwara Kiyo - Complete - 4 Chapters - ★★★
* Due to some unusual circumstances, Yutaka, a popular university students, often called a miser, raised by his strong sister, is an acquaintance of Rika, the owner of a host club. And then he meets Ritsu, the number 1 host at that club, and Kirishima, a lawyer who’s also a customer who adores Ritsu…?!  I'm drawing a blank at how good this story was, but it's got good art, so that counts for something, right?

Goong - Park So Hee - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★
* Due to a promise between the former king of Korea and an ordinary, strong-willed girl's grandfather, our heroine finds herself betrothed to a seemingly cold-hearted prince of Korea. How can she marry a guy who she overheard him proposing to another girl! Both unwilling parties agree to the marriage, each with his and her own different motivations for the agreement to marry. Can love bloom under the strain of love rivals and political ambitions?  Very, very good story.  Although I still adore the drama more.  But the story is very worth reading, so check it out!

H2O - Hwang Sook Ji - Complete - 43 Chapters - ★★★★
The story revolves around two girls and their relationships.  One is the typical pretty girl that moved to Korea and the other is your average girl.  They have nothing in common with each other, but things are soon going to change when boys get involved in the situation.  I liked the style of the story, but I was really hoping that Eechan would get together with Menga.

Hachimitsu no Hana - Kiuchi Tatsuya - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★
* Chitose works as a maid for the Kuze family, one of the most prestigious families of the time, in the Meiji Era. One day, Lan, a nephew of the Master, came back from England to be his adopted son. Chitose is assigned to be his caretaker while he adjusts to the new society, but, as time goes on... !  One of those typical maid falls in love with the master of the house story, but I like the art and the way that the author wrote the story.  It's worth a read.

Hadashi de Bara wo Fume - Ueda Rinko - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★
Sumi Kitamura is the second eldest child in a family where there are no parents.  She's got 4 little brothers and sisters to look after, but truth be told they're all adopted children.  She's out of money because her reckless older brother just gambles it all off.  She needs money and a man offers to marry her and in return she will receive a large amount of money.  It's a lovely story.  My aunt was telling me a story the other day about something similar. I have a soft spot for the art and the relationship between the two grows quite well.

Half and Half - Seo Jouji - Complete - One Shot - ★★★★
* Shinichi Nagakawa and Yuuki Sanada are both involved in an accident and die together. But they're given a chance to live again. God lets them live for 7 more days. But the catch is that after the time limit, one of them must die again. There's more. God decrees that their lives will be shared, including emotions (guilt) and physical sensations (pain). They are told not to leave the other's side, else both of them die. What will happen during those 7 days?... Excellent story.  It's a oneshot, so it's a quick read.

Hanatsuki Hime - Hibiki Wataru - Complete - 9 Chapters - ★★★
Lys' heart didn't beat when she was born, so her mother made a contract with the devil to borrow his until the day that she turned 16.  On that day he will come looking for her to eat her body.  Then it starts... a Thousand and One Nights romance between the devil and the girl.  It was an enjoyable story.  Not one of my favorite romances.  It's pretty hard to get me with a romance story, but I'll keep looking for that one that will make me either cry or squeal in delight at the ending.

Hand x Red - Kurata Hideyuki & Itsuki Hoshi - Incomplete - ★★★
Another story with people owing hearts to other people.  Half of Jim's heart is with Luca who betrayed him and holds the other half of his heart.  Ever 100 years Jim is let out for 10 days to defeat Luca and take back his heart. Try it out.  It's not too bad at all.

Heads - Higashino Keigo & Mase Motoro - Incomplete - ★
I think that to some this will be a great psychological story, but I'm truly not a fan of it.  If you want to check it out then just click the link that is the title.

Helen ESP - Kigitsu Katsuhisa - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★
Helen lost her hearing, sight and ability to speak in a car accident 5 years ago where she also lost her parents. She's currently living with her uncle and guide dog, but suddenly finds out that she has mysterious powers.  It's a decent story.  Recommended.

Hello Baby - Morita Masanori & Obata Takeshi - Complete - One Shot - ★★★★
This isn't SHINee's Hello Baby in manga form.  Quite the opposite of that.  The main character of this story is a would-be gangster who just wants to be recognized.  But when he comes home to his girlfriend he finds out that she's pregnant with his child.  Keep reading and you'll find out what happens after that.  I totally could not have predicted the ending.

I'm at End of Your Sight - Seo Moon Da Mi - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★
* Je-hyung who is left alone after his mother's death quits school and starts to work. On his way home he meets a girl who doesn't seem to have any place to go and brings her to his house. She disappears next morning, and three years later they meet again as boys.  It's been so long since this story was updated that I didn't even remember what it was about.  But I remember that it's a pretty good story, so you should read it!

Ice Revolution - Tsutsumi Aya & Takemura Youhei - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★★
Oosawa Misaki is the daughter of a dojo manager.  She was raised as a boy, but one day she meets a guy that sparks an interest in her eye.  He's an ice skater and she wants to become a sweet and lovely girl just for him.  Will she be able to do it?  Not on her own, she'll need help from quite a few people.  One of my favorite stories.  It's too bad it hasn't been updated in forever.

Jack Frost - Go Jin-Ho - Incomplete - ★★★
A horror story by a Korean author.  There are some parts that are really funny.  The beginning really hooked me when the girl's head was chopped off, but she was still alive.  This girl happens to be the "mirror image."  I'm not quite sure what that means because I haven't read more than like 3 of the chapters.  You can buy this in stores because Yen Press doesn't let OM host it anymore.

Kamen Teacher - Fujisawa Tohru - Incomplete - ★★★★
Now this is a teacher that I would be scared of.  Kyokuran is a public high school in which 80% of the students are delinquents. Two new teachers are hired in order to solve the problem, but will it go over easily or will blood have to be shed in order for these students to find their rightful place?  I like it, so I recommend this one.

Kami no Shizuku - Aoki Yuuya & Okimoto Shu - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★
* The main character of the manga, a young man called Shizuku Kanzaki, discovers the beauty of wine after his father, a famous wine critic, dies and leaves an unusual will: a description of 12 wines he considers to be the best in the world, comparing them to Jesus Christ’s disciples. The first person to find these “disciples” will inherit the father’s wine collection, a contest that pits Shizuku against his adoptive brother, Issey Tomine, who works as a wine critic. I've only just started to read this today, but I am so impressed with the story line and the art.  I think it was more the art that blew me away. Recommended!

Karneval - Mikanagi Touya - Incomplete - ★★★
* Nai searches for someone important to him, with only an abandoned bracelet as a clue. Gareki steals and pick-pockets to get by from day to day. The two meet in a strange mansion where they are set-up, and soon become wanted criminals by military security operatives. When Nai and Gareki find themselves desperate in a hopeless predicament, they encounter none other than the country's most powerful defense organization - "Circus"!!  I've only read into this story a little bit.  It's interesting, nice art and decent story line.  Anyone read this before that wants to tell me if it's worth reading past the 7th chapter?  I've had no time for it.

Katana - Kamata Kimiko - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★
This story's just so cool!  I love the fact that he can talk to katana and you really learn a lot about taking care of katana.  This is a must read!

Katekyo Hitman Reborn! - Amano Akira - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★★★
Sawada Tsunayoshi was just your normal less than average student that lived with his mom.  But then one day he met Reborn who is going to guide him on the way to become the 10th boss of the Vongola family. He'll meet many people that will become his guardians and they'll have to go through many trials to reach their end.  I'm in love with this story so much!  If you have not read this then you should.  A little teaser.  I hate the Shimon family with a burning passion.

Kimi no Iru Machi - Seo Kouji - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★★
I look forward to this story every single week.  This has got to be one of my favorite romance stories that I've read.  The girl is originally from Tokyo and she moves to the countryside to attend high school.  The family that she is staying with is related to them in terms of the guy's father is her father's apprentice.  Haruto always rejects Yuzuki, but in time his feelings for her will change.  But he's also found that he's in love with Nanami. What's going to happen to these teenagers?

Kindan no Koi de Ikou - Ohmi Tomu - Complete - ★★★★
*Hisako is saved by a beautiful wolf that turns into an even more beautiful man...but can a relationship like this work!? This is a continuation from Kindan no Koi wo Shiyou.  I thought that it was okay.  A little dirty at times, but you know it's two people who are passionately in love and feel the need to do each other at least once a day.  But it doesn't get that explicit.

Kindan no Koi wo Shiyou - Ohmi Tomu - Complete - ★★★★
Basically the same as the story above it.  This is just when she met the wolf for the first time.  It's the start of their lovely relationship.

Kitchen Princess - Kobayashi Miyuki - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★
Najika is great cook and always does her best to cook for those that she loves.  When she was little, there was a boy that really touched her heart.  The silver spoon that was given to her by him led her to Seika Academy.  But there she meets two brothers, could one of them be the one from her childhood?  I loved the cooking concept in this manga!  Read it!  Although I think that you would have better luck getting more chapters by buying them from a bookstore.

Koizora - Mika & Haneda Ibuki - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★
I'm pretty sure that the majority of you know the story of Koizora.  Girl meets boy, they fall in love, they have sex, she gets pregnant, his old girlfriend gets jealous, girl has a miscarriage, boy finds out that he has cancer, he breaks up with her and goes back to his old ways, they realize how stupid they are, they get back together, she goes to get pictures developed, he dies.  I ended up writing more than I was, but I was just so moved by this story.  Having a boyfriend like Hiro would be great.  I cried so much when I watched that movie.  The actor that played him in the movie is like one of my dream guys.  I recommend the movie more than this because it's been a while since a chapter release.

Kuroko no Basket - Fujimaki Tadatoshi - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★
* Kuroko is a member from the legendary middle school basketball team known as "The Generation of Miracles", and while nobody seems to know about him, the main 5 players of the team all admit that he is a better player. When he joins the high school basketball team, everyone is surprised to find out that he is small, weak, and easy to miss. What is the secret that makes him so strong, and how will he help his high school team?   Love this story, but I wish that there would be a chapter release sometime soon.  I'm kind of in love with the art.

Kuroshitsuji - Toboso Yana - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★★★
This is one story that you have to read before you die.  The butler is to die for hot.  And so are many of the characters.  I'm just in love with the art as well.  But it's been licensed by Yen Press so you'll have to buy it if you want to read it.  *To what extent must a housekeeper do things to be acceptable? One of the noble families of England: Phantomhive's butler: Sebastian Michaels has got unquestionably perfect knowledge, manners, talent with materials, martial arts, et cetera: but is also able to serve a 12 year old master. Wearing a grey tailcoat, gracefully brewing the worlds strongest red tea, please read on to see how such a perfect butler copes with such a master...

Laon - A A-ru & Yu Hyon - Incomplete - ★★★
A story of a nine-tailed-fox that goes in search for one it's tails that it lost in a game.  This story was okay.  I'm not entirely too impressed with it, but it's got some pretty nice artwork.

The Legend of Zelda - Minish Cap - Himekawa Akira - Complete - ★★★★
* Based on the game of the same name The King of Hyrule is sending Link on an incredible quest that will take him to places he's never imagined. Using the power of a special hat called the Minish Cap, Link can shrink and explore the magical world of the Minish -- tiny people who live just beneath his feet!  It's such a cute story!  I adore this Link so much!  Nice and short, Zelda fans you should check it out!

The Legend of Zelda - Phantom Hourglass - Himekawa Akira - Complete - ★★★★
If anyone's ever played Windwaker, then you'll really like this manga.  It follows the story after it and he journeys to save Tetra.  He must also find many things along the way.  You'll find out when you read it.  It's just a little longer than Minish Cap.

The Legend of Zelda - Wind Waker - Link's Log Book - Himekawa Akira - Complete - ★★★★
This is the story of the logbook of Link's journey during Wind Waker.  During his journey, he meets various people and gets into many unique situations.  Loved the art of the story and the story line is cute.

Liar Game - Kaitani Shinobu - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★★
* Congratulations! You are one of the 1 in 100,000 people who have been entered in the amazing LIAR GAME TOURNAMENT! Along with the postcard there are 100 million yen in notes. That's the beginning of the Liar Game. When the game ends, in 30 days, you will have to return your 100 million. If your opponent steals them, he can keep them as a prize, and you will have a debt of 100 million... One of the greatest psychological mangas that I have ever read.  You learn quite a few techniques that might be useful in life.  The artwork didn't appeal to me at first, but it was the story that got me.  There's a drama for this.

Liar Game - Roots of A - Saitani Shinobu - Complete - ★★★★★
This story is just a prequel to the Liar Game.  It features Akiyama and a few of his classmates in a criminal psychology class.  They're given an assignment and it prompts Akiyama to continue on with his studies. Loved it.  Nice and short and really got in depth with Akiyama.

Little House With An Orange Roof - Yamahana Noriyuki - Complete - ★★★
I only started it, but never really got into it.  It's a completed story so I might go back sometime and finish.  I guess it's okay from what I've read. * A man comes home one day to have his wife give him divorce papers. A woman comes home to her apartment one day to find a woman she doesn’t know wrapped in a towel coming out of the shower. They both get conned by the same real estate conman on the same house, a 4LDK. So now the man, his two sons, the woman, and her two daughters live in the same house.

M. C. Law - Tsurugina Mai & Asada Yukai - Complete - 28 Chapters - ★★★★★
Excellent story.  I loved the characterization of the main character.  He's so cool~  * “Cause trouble in Shibuya and I’ll hear everything.” Chiryu Mamoru is the former Shibuya Gang King (Crime Boss). Now he’s protecting the streets of Shibuya as the youngest lawyer in history. With an ear piercing as his lawyer badge and law as his weapon, he works to destroy the nest of evil and protect the people. Introducing one lawyer’s all consuming fight against heresy!! “You can’t protect anything with VIOLENCE… that’s why I choose LAW!!”

Mademoiselle Butterfly - Akane Ogura - Complete - 9 Chapters - ★★★★
An excellent example of historical romance, but it's not too far back in time.  The main character is a geisha-in-training and she's fallen for a certain tattoo artist.  But with their age difference there is bound to be troubles that happen along the way.  What will happen when she finds a naked woman in his room one day?  And she then meets a customer that's willing to buy her and take her away from this life.

Madofuki Park - Murata Yusuke - Complete - One Shot - ★★★
The year is 2050 and Park is a window washer, but it's not actually a well paying job.  But perhaps this simple window washer can become a hero?  I actually didn't read all of this, but the first 6 pages have me very interested.

MT Pass - Oda Aya - Complete - 12 Chapters - ★★★
* "You shall meet your true love today..." This was the fortune that Magic Tower's top fortune-teller (and not to mention hottest), Aki, predicted. The girl he met that did was named Saya, part of Aki's brother's fortune-telling club. Saya simply cannot believe it, but Aki tells her fortune and it's the same! Could this fortune really come true? If you do not tell one fortune right, you are forced to leave your position at MT...  It's an okay story.  Not my favorite.  But it's short and sweet.

Medaka Box - Nishio Ishin & Akatsuki Akira - Incomplete - ★★★
Art's kind of ecchi, but other than that I'm pretty impressed.  Medaka's childhood friend is my favorite character!  It's the Japanese student council, but to a new level.

Midnight Secretary - Ohmi Tomu - Complete - 37 Chapters - ★★★★
Kaya is the private secretary of Kyouhei Touma whom happens to be a vampire.  If I go into it anymore then I'll be giving away too much.  Read it to find out!

Monster Hunter Orage - Mashima Hiro - Complete - 14 Chapters - ★★★★
It's a monster hunting story.  They can make weapons from the monsters that they kill and improve their abilities.  But our main characters are after a legendary light dragon.  Loved the style because the mangaka's the one that did Mashima Hiro.

My Girl - Sahara Mizu - Incomplete - Reading - ★★★★★
My favorite seinen manga that I have ever read.  I believe that it's been made into a drama as well.  I really hope to see this story in store sometime soon.  Gorgeous art and just really sweet story line. * Kazama Masamune - a single 23-year-old man...has a kid? During the season of cherry blossoms, his beloved passes away. He happens to meet a little girl outside work and realizes she is his daughter who was raised in secrecy by his lover. The worst spring of his life is transformed into a painful yet vivid spring.

Please enjoy going through these!  I've linked part 2 to this as well.
