If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
Just one thing? hmm. I think i would eradicate all attitudes that have wrods that end in an 'ism', or a 'phoibia' - ie, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, racism. but, since that is fairly unattainable, then failing that i'd eradicate shit grammar (spelling mistakes included of course, in subclause the first).
What makes a person respectable?
Respectable? to me or to the world at large? for me, it's when they respect themselves, do not run roughshod over other people's opinions and if they disagree, they talk about it in a reasonable manner explaining why they think what they do. Also, i find i respect knowledgable people, and intelligent people. also, people who can fight the system without killing innocents. i don't think appearance has anything to do with it; you can be a homeless bum living in a cardboard box and have more respectability than some rich guy in a mansion.
What do you look for in a friend?
i look for someone who interests me. mostof my friends have issues, so i guess i also look for people i can help. i like people who share my interests, and who can introduce me to new things. i like people who like to do interesting things, instead of just sit somewhere getting stoned. ;( nuh uh. i like someone who will go on aeventures; those can be fun. someone likes sneaking around and spying on people, that can be fun too. i like making pranks with people, like prank phone calls. just someone to have fun with. ;)
What are your hobbies?
hobbies, huh? I like reading fiction, listening to music, creating things. i like haning out with my friends and watching movies. i like listengin to sarcastic comedians. i like talking to people i don't know when i can't see them and they can't see me.
Have or would you give time and money to a charity?
maybe. it would be good to help people, but i'd have to check out the charity first. you don't want to help a bogus charity, now do you? i mean, one that doesn't use the money to help people, only themselves.
does the coeliac society count as a charity? it's an organisation for people with coeliac disease, and i help out there sometimes. (admittedly, it is a rare occasion, but still.)
What is the one thing you would most like to accomplish?
I want to pass my TEE with a mark of 68% or better, so that I can get into university and become and editor and earn a lot of money so i can be comfortble in the latter reaches of my life. and i want to move to ireland. or france.
Who is your role model?
my role model? i actually don't think i have one... i have no idea. my parents? maybe my english teacher in yer ten, she was pretty cool. mainly fictional characers, though. like spike and giles from buffy, dumbledore and snape from hp, fitz and the fool from robin hobb. that sort of thing.
What trait most annoys you about other people?
BAD GRAMMAR! no, seriously. it's true. that and saying 'lol' every third word.
What do you want to do for a living?
i want to be an editor, and failing that i want to be a writer. i'd want to be an artist, but for that you need talent of an artistic nature.
If your friend was attacked (by a person, animal, or (in the magic world) beast), what would you do?
if they were attacked, i'd either help if i had the means, contact someone if i had he means, or just try and grab them and run.
Would you ever use an Unforgivable Curse for any reason?
maybe. it depends on the situation. like, if i were being attacked, i might use crucio or imperius to get them off'f me and into a police station. like, i'd use them, but only in dire circumstances, and never for fun.
