If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be? And to think I started off thinking I would try not to 'unanswer' questions... This type of question always gets me. I suppose I would like to make it so that every single individual could find something that would make them feel like their life was worthwhile. And get real happiness out of it, not a kind of fake charade put up because you know it's better to be happy about things or because you want people to think you're happy. Because if everyone has something that completes them, why would they need to be violent and destructive?
What makes a person respectable? For me to respect something they have to have done something that I value and admire. Somebody who knows what they want and goes about it the right way is respectable. I think you have to earn a person's respect. But a person can be respected for something small or big... Argg... Lots of things make people respectable, but I'm not going to go on about how many options there are for this question...
What do you look for in a friend? Someone fun and funny, somebody who accepts me for who I am and what I like, somebody I can talk to and not feel that a silence is awkward, somebody who I feel is worthwhile to be around. Somebody who has something to give to a situation, a game, a conversation, etc and who adds to my life, I guess.
What are your hobbies? Lots of sport - waterpolo, netball, swimming, surf life saving, skiing... I love to read and I dabble at writing (I would love to be a good writer, but alas...). Harry Potter, I suppose ;). I like to do random things a lot of the time, just wander about for no reason... I collect 5 cent pieces.
Have or would you give time and money to a charity? I'm not old enough to have a constant supply of spare money yet, but I gave to the Tsunami Appeal and I've done the 40 hour famine a few times. And then the school has things for charities which I give too. I also worked at the hospital a while back, but that was for Duke of Ed. I want to give money to charities when I'm older and intend to, but I wouldn't really say I do that much in terms of charity.
What is the one thing you would most like to accomplish? One thing? Argg... that's hard. I have so many goals I would love to achieve but they're kind of crazy. I would love to be able to write beautifully. I don't think it'll ever happen because you're born with that sort of thing, but I often wish I had that ability, to bring beauty to other people's life through words.
Who is your role model? I don't really believe in role models... I mean, I don't aspire to be like anybody in particular, I take my aspirations from different things I see in everyday life, in books, in movies, my friends, my family...everywhere. I don't really think I'm very goal orientated, so role models are not a big thing to me.
What trait most annoys you about other people? Judging something or someone too quickly annoys me. I'm probably guilty of it, but when a person doesn't give someone or something a chance it irks me.
What do you want to do for a living? I think I'll end up going down the science track and doing medicine or maybe veterinary science. I don't really like the business world much and, as much as I wish I were creative, I don't think I have enough talent to base my future upon that end of things. I'd love to try my hand at something though once I was established in the world.
If your friend was attacked (by a person, animal, or (in the magic world) beast), what would you do? That's very open ended, isn't it? Attacked as in physically attacked? If a friend of mine was attacked I think I'd first of all help them (the friend) in any way I could. And if they needed help in any way getting back at the attacker, I'd be ready to help them as they and I saw fit.
Would you ever use an Unforgivable Curse for any reason? Yes. Though hopefully not maliciously. I mean, the Imperius curse would be tempting... I don't know if I could kill and I don't know if I could inflict pain upon somebody... but I wouldn't ever say I couldn't, because circumstances change.
What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities? I am really bad at analysing myself... *sigh* And no, that wasn't one of them. Well, I think I'm...
Original: I pride myself on being my own person and sticking to it. Lots of my friends may say I am 'crazy' but I love that and love that I can come up with things that nobody else things of and occasionally they're interesting.
Optimistic: 'Always look on the bright side of life!' Well, I don't know if this is 100% true, I'm not always the person who points out that the glass is half full, but generally I'm pretty happy about everything and if I'm not I soon get over it or find something more worth while to put my energy into.
Intelligent: Ummm... Well, I get good marks at school, I'm pretty confident that I won't just flop in life and my school is academically selective, so I think I'm reasonably intelligent. And it is naturally a good quality, non?
Independent: I'm a pretty independent person most of the time, I don't expect help in many ways and I like to do things for myself. Sometimes, this is a bad thing, people can be put off, I think, but overall, I'd prefer to be independent than not.
Strong: I believe and hope I am a strong person. I haven't been through as much as others whom I know, but I can take things in my stride and I'm not afraid to stand up for who I am and what I think.
That was really hard.
What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities? Why is it that we find it easier to critise ourselves? Because I think most people do... OK:
Indecisive: I can't make decisions. Not quickly, at least. I'm often one of those annoying people whom you ask what they want to do and they just reply with 'I don't know'. Don't worry, it annoys me too.
Messy/Lazy: I can't keep things tidy to save myself. I think this is bought on by laziness, I often 'can't be bothered' to clean up this or that, but over all I'm not very lazy as a person, just when it comes to being clean. My room gets in a mess like that *clicks fingers*. But I quite like doing large clean ups once I get into it... Hmm...
Selfish: Aren't we all? But seriously, I think I have a tendency to do things for myself, when maybe I should do things for others. I don't really notice, but I think there are often times when I will choose myself over others and I want things for myself... I'm looking into it.
Show-off: I show-off quite a bit because I like people to know what I've done well in or at. It's bad, I know, but it's one of those things that I do.
Loud: I'm very loud, a lot of the time. Especially at school. I like to be heard and sometimes I can be a little too loud in order to fulfil this. Especially when I'm with my other loud friends...
Define in your own words the following key traits:
Courage: The ability to stand up for what you believe is right, even if it scares you and even if it seems impossible.
Loyalty: To stick by somebody no matter what the consequences. To show them that your shoulder is always welcome for them to cry on and to know that they would offer the same back. To have a relationship based on trust that you know will never break and you never plan to break it.
Intelligence: To be able to use what you are capable of and what your brain is capable of to the best of your ability. To be able to continuously learn and to find joy in that.
Ambition: A desire to succeed and achieve a goal. A want to be more than you are and gain more than you have.

What house do you think DOESN'T fit you? Optional question? Oh well. Well, I have no desire really to be a Puff, but if that's what you all think I am then, bah, oh well. I just don't think I'm particularly loving of everybody, etc. But don't let what I want influence you PLEASE because I am interested to know what house is 'meant for me' :D.
