Tomorrow is the day. I think there was much anticipation of panick ( with a k, it makes it just.. more ), but these people underestimate my capacity for internalization. Actually, while I am kinda nervous, I've had to deal with this feeling on numerous occasions in the past.
That being said, I had been looking forward to vlarp tonight; that is until it got cancelled. The perfect distraction gone, and not wanting to put all that pressure on G to occupy me all night long, it was wouldbepoet and girlwithtea to our rescue. Sometimes I wonder if those two know how wonderful and cool and swell I ( we, really ) think they are. I suppose if they read this, it will give them some indication. Rescue was had, television was watched, chinese food was had. And some strawberries. Despite my determination to eat and drink everything in sight today, I got full reasonably quickly. What I mean by quickly is that I went through an entire bag of Viva Puff cookies in under an hour. It's that confluence of chocolate and raspberry and marshmallow in a dome shape. I love taking the tops off first. Comfort food really.
In nero news, I dropped the price increase bomb on the forums. Me posting to the forums as GM sometimes feels like a game of whack-a-mole, with me as the mole. So far, there seems to be little to no backlash for it. I tried to explain and be as upfront as possible about the reasons for the price increase- I recognise that a lack of openess and communication in the past has lead to unfortunate speculation and suspiscion. I'm trying to avoid that this time- yet I am suprisingly unstressed about it. I can only tell the truth, answer questions as openly as possible. I can do no more than this- hopefully it will be enough.
In really better news, fun news, cool stuff news: I have snagged Drahcir to do some maps for us. Amazing work he does. He says its a hobby, I say he could do this for a living. Wonderfully vivid descriptions, gorgeous city layout. He took what I told him and made it come alive, and come alive with improvements! The first city is Konnigraatz.
It's 11:36. I need to have more fluids or something. Or play some wow. I should be home- fucked up, but home around suppertime tomorrow.
