so im really upset about the death of the crocodile hunter! its such a sad loss for the wildlife community. he was a spokesperson about conservation, and a leading educator who made learning about the natural world fun.
but im more upset at the circus the media is making of this tragedy. suddenly the headlines are suggesting that wildlife entertainers are going 'too far' to get their stories or photos. why does there always have to be so much sensationalism??? i could go on and on about this, but i recommend watching 'bowling for columbine' to finish my argument about the media.
i just wanted to say how upset i am about fact that someone died here, in a freak accident (cuz seriously, only 2 other recorded deaths have occurred because of a sting ray), and we should be reflecting on his career, and mourning with his family.
