and so im in frankfort for the store opening. everything has been pretty hectic, and all ive done is work and sleep. its actually not as bad as it sounds. cuz right now, we arent open and we are just training out of the store. manual labor on friday and saturday (unloading 2 trucks of stuff for the store) has left me sore and exhausted. jamie and the new gm of streamwood came for those days so nick could see how it all goes. friday nite jamie took me out to dinner, which was really nice... i see it as an honor to be invited to dinner by jamie. of course, we talked mostly about work, and at some points it felt like a gm interview. i eagerly obliged and talked her ear off.
saturday ended up being a 14 hour day for me... so that was kinda icky. and my next day off isnt til next sunday, for the lockjaw show. (who knows if ill be up to go to that... what with work the way it is, and all. looks like ill be here until they pull me for streamwood... or if they decide to promote me. muah!
i better get to sleep. another 11.5 hour day tomorrow. ah!!!
