Yesterday was a pretty amazing day.  Despite the fact that I woke up feeling like I was coming down with something, I managed to do a lot.  Made a batch of bread, got Emily to dust a bit around here.  Took on a difficult task of patching a hole in the seat of one of Ray's pairs of dress slacks.  The fabric was tissue thin to begin with, then got even thinner around where it wore through.  It was extremely tricky to repair, and it's not perfect, but as Ray said, anyone getting close enought to notice needs to back off anyway.  *Grins*
Ray and I and Emily and Cameron went to see Alice In Wonderland.   We loved it.  I can understand why some people would beef about it being generic, but it's all about the visuals and they're so wonderful nothing else matters.  And anyone saying it's heartless misses the point of the connection between Alice and her father which is reinforced by her adventures.  The 3-D aspect was fine, not so overwhelming that it gave you a headache, yet truly enhancing the visuals.  Em and I aggreed we both wanted to reach out and touch the Cheshire Cat, he looked so appealing.  And then there's the voice acting.  I never would have known Stephen Fry was in it, but there's no mistaking Alan Rickman.
Dinner was a fish entree I'd looked forward to cooking for days.  But it bombed.  Something about the sauce, or maybe it was a side effect of the bug I was coming down with.  Well the bread was fabulous, which helped.
Another milestone occurred, in that Tasha let Cameron pet her, and she licked his hand.  That is mind-boggling, considering where she came from.  Woot-woot!
