Resourceful I am
Yesterday I worked in pricing for four hours, then in grocery for four. In pricing, I got a lot of much-needed feedback from my boss, which made me sooooo happy. I also busted the laminating machine. :( Oooh, bad Eleanor! Then I took it apart and fixed it. :) Okay, good Eleanor! My boss was very impressed with the fact that I did so myself and with far less damage to the machine than the maintenance guy did when he tried to do the same thing a while back. So, overall I'd say it was a win situation. I guess from things she said, the poor thing gets used and abused a lot, so it's helpful to have someone around who feels comfortable with such things and can troubleshoot. Beats the hell out of having to ask someone else to do it, be at the mercy of when they're available, then see them butcher the equipment in the process.
