Ugh. I made the mistake of forwarding danjite's 7 things meme. I can handle most of it, but the "I'll tell you what song/movie/book/fictional character reminds me of you" is giving me fits! Unless I know someone really well, or have at least interacted with them in person, I don't tend to get those sorts of "hits" for people. I'm much better with plant/animal associations.
Plus I'm way to sensitive to the possibility that the associations that do come to mind for me might not be things I wish to share, since, even if I don't think of them as negative, they might come across that way to someone who doesn't know the twisty ways my brain works.

But I'll keep trying, 'cause I got myself into this mess, and I have a perverse sense of honor that won't let me back out of publicly made vows. Public, for those who are wondering, means it impacts someone other than myself and was witnessed by someone in addition to myself. Unfortunately it means it will take me a lot longer to answer some of them.
