This morning I woke early and went in the hall and the sun was coming in at just the right angle through the downstairs stained glass window.
The photo doesn't do it justice - from the angle I was seeing it the blue moon was incandescent. It was amazing.
Here's a picture of the whole window. The colors are very rich, but they aren't quite this saturated in real life. It's so hard to make a camera show things the way the brain interprets them.
By the time I figured out how to get the angle I needed to have the camera show what I was seeing, the sun had gone behind a cloud and the light was totally different. But joy is like that. It's there. Grab it. Every time it comes along.
