apparently it's time to post again
happy birthday to me,
my rockstar (kurt Cobain, Janis Joplin, Jimmi Hendrix, Jim Morison to name a few) year has ended yesterday, today i turned 28years old. To celebrate this joyous occasion I went to the dentist because no place bring me more joy then the dentist office. Although my kickass friends did throw a decadent birthday bash on Friday which my belly is still recovering from. Bowls and bowls of chicken wings, salad, 2 different types of cheesecake, brownies and enough drinks and "smoke" to destroy a baby elephant! I also got some pretty snazy gifts as well, like a circut-bent tie by mc_questionmark, artstore gift card and a funky little robot to add to my collection. I must admit I've got the best friends in the world.
Over the weekend f_hilo Informed me that our local "THE SOURCE" store was having a 50% off EVERYTHING in the store. So naturaly we went up and oh how i wish i had a few more hundred dollars in my pocket. I basicaly had no money coming in and for some reason left with a few products??? I got a pair of much needed earplug type headphones while Fhilo and MC? got some remote controled cars which we used to torture the cat later that night. He also picked up a nifty little electronic project kit which is a good starter point if you plan on getting into circuit bending. It has all the main components like your transistors and capacitors and it's even got a light sensitive sensor so you can use it as a Thermamin, here he is with a demo:
I know my previous post spoke of completing a certain painting but life is curious with it's unexpected plans and alternative routes. I have been quite buzy working on a few other projects, our wedding rings for one thing;
I designed and vitualy contructed these puppies and thanks to a good friend's friend, we will be getting these "grown" (plastic generating process) from the file and cast into white gold and then shipped back to us from San Antonio. I'm very excited to see what they'll look like, not to mention whether they'll fit or not. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
Apart from the ongoing wedding madness, I've been helping my mom's company develop their webpage. If you're in the same situation we are with TV where you only have 1 or on a good day 2chanels to chose from you've probably seen their commercial on GLOBAL, they're the AANB (http://aanb.dsdev.net/). So aside from my own unprofessional website, these cats are giving me some good experience at developing a more professional clean page (even though it's a cookie-cut page that i've gotta somehow make pretty)
