Update Post
Thanksgiving was fun. I was at home with my family for a v. long time, but I got to see Elf, Knocked Up, and Die Hard 4: I can't be Arsed to Look Up the Name so it was worth it.
Will Ferrell as an elf tickled me. Especially when one of the other elves said, "You're 6'3 It was kinda obvious." Zoey Deschanel was pretty as a blonde, but if it wasn't for her voice, I never would've recognised her. I liked it and I'd definitely recommend it as a cute holiday movie.
Kocked Up was fantastic! I loved it! It had the same kind of crude humour with a message thing that Superbad had going on. I seriously love those guys; they're up there with the Frost/Pegg/Wright team when it comes to awesomeness. The commentary was hilarious, especially with the guy from SNL's impersonations. Especially when you realised that his Al Pacino and his Bill Cosby were basically the same voice.
Die Hard 4 was actually really good. I've not seen any of the other Die Hards but it's not necessary. It was funny and pretty awesome, but there needed to be alot of suspension of disbelief. Especially when the F16 had an 18 wheeler land on it. And when you realised that Gabriel's team was made up of a ninja, Spider-Man, and a bunch of super geniuses. I was a bit disappointed, because I remember hearing several reports about how this was the first Die Hard with a female villian. Yes, Ninja was a villian but she wasn't the main villian nor was she really all that important. She was there to give Gabriel something to angst about. But Justin Long (of "Hi, I'm a Mac.") fame made up for it. He's kinda cute, especially with the facial hair. And the lead geek on Gabriel's team, the one with the glasses, he was cute too. My sister died at "Yippie ki yay!" She just kept saying, "What the heck was that? What's the matter with them? Why would you do that randomly?" And then we found out it was his catchphrase and started laughing harder.
Speaking of holiday stuff, the list for Christmas cards is here! All comments are now screened thanks to the help of the lovely ubiquitous_girl.

I don't really want cards this year so I'm not really commenting on other people's lists, but if you really want to send me something ask and I'll email you my address. Some of you already have mine; if you do, everything needs to be sent to "AD Revels" because someone named Amy has been stealing my mail and then returning it when she realises it isn't hers. This means that it takes even longer for me to get my stuff. Which is bad. I know most of you know why my mail is so difficult to do so I'm not explaining but if you really want to know, ask, I'll willing to explain again.
Also, I'm 15,000 words behind on Nano. AHHHHHH!!!! I actually still have a chance to make it, but it seems unlikely.
