DH spoilers

That's right...I'm finally getting around to posting them. Mostly because I'm stuck on my paper o' doom.

That has been my fave joke since my sister fell for it. She's not read an HP since Sirius died but decided she need to read this one. So she's had to read all the other books and I'm taunting her with fake spoilers. Including that one.

When this book was on, it was *on*! When it wasn't, it so totally wasn't. The middle of the book when they were just kinda chilling in the woods was so boring.

The beginning bits were awesome, especially the escape and the wedding. I love Dudley being kinda sweet. I also enjoyed that they had well-reasoned, well-thought out plans that just didn't work.

The thing with Bathilda Bagshot and Nagini made my skin crawl. *That* was how to do creepy.

The Final Battle = teh awesome! I loved that the Malfoys were just interested in the safety of Draco. And I declare internet engagement to Neville and Gran! (I think I may already be internet engaged to someone else...does this make me a polygamist?) And quite possibly Luna.

I love Luna/Dean and I plan on shipping it; though, not militantly. I kinda wish the book was all about Neville just so there could be more him and Luna. 'Cause they're totally best friends. And I love that McG was her own Patronus.

I hated the thing at King's Cross. That was just...stupid. And Harry's stupid monologuing during the final showdown between him and Voldemort. It's like they tell evil overlords. KILL THEM! Then explain your evil plan.

The deaths started to seem a bit gratuitious at times. Almost like, "I've not killed anybody in a while. *rolls D12* Ha! So-and-so gets it!"

I'll admit I cried. When Dobby died. Even now the words, "A Free Elf" (seen on someone else's icon) made me tear up. And I teared up when Kreacher and the house elves came to save the day. (I told you! *vindicated*) "For Master Regalus!" almost made me flip my crap.

Is it just me or did everybody who was in the other books had to come back just for a cameo?

That epilogue sucked! I know she wrote it in 1990, but surely she could've done a rewrite at some point. And let me just say, "Scorpius" isn't as bad as you all think. At least it wasn't Amaranth Dymphna...

All in all: I liked it. But it was what it was.

EDIT: Theodore Nott totally snuck back in and fought with the school! Even if JK didn't mention it...
