Happier update

Dec 06, 2008 21:54

hello there all, apologies for the last dark and dreary update. Hopefully this one will find me in better spirits.

Well, Steve and me still have our little thing (whatever it is) going strong. We might even be going out. He did say the words "I think we should go out" and I agreed but I'm not sure if that actually means we ARE going out... anyway. I'm not going to dwell on the details. Suffice to say he seems to still like me, and I still like him, so this is good. And I figure if we've been ok so far, the week of exams won't be too much of an obstacle for our interesting little relationship.

One thing that might be a bit of a problem is my state of health. Its ten o'clock now... not exactly what you'd call late for a saturday night... but I went to bed at half seven due to complete lack of sleep last night. And here I am lying awake typing a livejournal entry to distract me form the weird acrobatics of my stomach and intestines. Ugh... I feel sooo dreadful. I don't know if it has something to do with drinking at carly's, or is it psycho-somatic exam stress, or maybe I just are something dodgy. But today all I had was some fruit for breakfast, a yoghurt and 2 pieces of brown bread for lunch, and scrambled egg on toast for dinner. Hardly like I overate, though I feel so so bloaty and full and gurgly and yuck. Oh wait. I also had a biscuit. That must be it. Oh no... what if I have coeliac disease... well I was tested last year and they said I didn't so here's hoping.

Anyways this isn't very cheerful at all! Ali, silly girl. Yeah I use this livejournally thing to vent, apologies. Next time I'm in a fantastic mood I promise I'll log on and be all sunshine and happy thoughts. And in fairness, things are ok. I'm pretty happy with stuff involving Steve. He's so lovely. And I', sure exams will be... ok... ish... I only need a little over 30% to pass the subjects which is ok... I think... and all over in two weeks and then fun times are upon us. (Steve always says "Fun times". )

You know what I need? A list. Oh yes!
Stuff to do at christmas:
Read REAL BOOKS
Watch movies
wrap presents and write cards while listening to all my dad's vinyl that I've never listened to- this includes albums by David Bowie, The Stranglers, The Radiators From Space, Gang Of Four, Buddy Holly, Joy Division... yay...
Feed ducks, somewhere.
Book another driving test (bleh)
go to the theatre! (sorted, thanks to mummy)
Buy presents for various relatives and friends
Catch up with some folks
go for a walk up the wicklow mountains with dad... maybe to the leadmines tower. Its our thing.
Ok list is in the works. Pre-exams, I need to buy stationary and stop worrying.

Request: Insert suggestions for good holiday reads, movies, tv shows etc here... I need some ideas!!
