So I've been chosen as one of many "early adopters" in (testing?) the migration of Work Email to gmail!

I started the process yesterday, and changes so far include:  I now seem to be able to receive larger files than before - YAY (ridiculous 4MB limit previously?), but I'm still getting "mailbox overquota" warnings - I assume we now get the full gmail size?  Some hiccups with Thunderbird, but I might just convince myself is fine to use a browser (and threading!).  It suddenly occurred to me at the end of yesterday that maybe 4 important emails I'd sent hadn't really sent.  Tests indicate 3 of 4 emails may have worked :-/  Also.  Successfully exported address book, but local mail folders not migrating like they say they should.  And would I even know if some emails went missing?

Other tech news.  My (only 2 year old) mobile has been increasingly debilitated by dust getting behind the screen (and no way to clean it except to break something), which was mainly a problem in sunlight, but was very annoying.  CIG got a fancy new HTC-Android phone a week or so ago, so I inherited the superseded handset (also about 2 years old, but without the screen-dust-access design flaw).  So nice being able to see things on the screen again.  On thursday it stopped turning on.  Back t the old handset.  Very tempted to get an HTC too...
