Just found out that leave which wasn't accumulating cos I had 'maximum' leave already accumulated, is being re-credited to me (union was kicking up a fuss).
Our unit was fine with me taking it informally anyway, so I wasn't particularly worried, but now it's all formal. Which is probably going to be more troublesome (there's extra paperwork above what normal leave needs). But. Well. Good on them for caving gracefully. Or whatever.
(Although it sounds like it's the leave owed from last year, and may not include the leave I sh/would've also been accumulating all of this year).
