(i can be quite concise in fiction, but as myself, nooooo way. i apologize in advance for the length this will probably be.)
she would absolutely agree that she is dumb. she's been told that a lot. she was never a very good student, and she didn't really care, because she knew what she wanted to do, and it had nothing to do with school. her mom is very upset with her for not going to university, and i think sometimes she regrets it, even though she knows it wouldn't have been a good atmosphere for her. she just wishes she could feel smarter. her world is very small. also her boyfriend is quite smart so she sometimes feels dumb around him too.
let's see, carver met marvel when she got her first big job! he played her love interest. he is mostly a dancer, but he sings and acts too. together they also teach a teen! music! theatre! class. exclamation points are necessary. when they met she was nineteen and he was twenty-one and they became best friends for lots and lots of reasons lol. mostly they look out for each other. carver met g-unit (outside of the book, he is always g-unit. i don't even remember why.) about a year later i think, when she was lost because marvel was at an audition so he couldn't drive her to her audition. she can't drive. g-unit was outside pretending to have a smoke (he doesn't smoke) because he couldn't stand the tension at his lunch meeting and nobody would listen to him telling them to calm down because he's "not a real employee." he's "not a real employee" because his dad and before that his grandfather and great-grandfather etc work for the bank so they think he got his job unfairly even though he really didn't. he just wants to work there because he's a family kind of dude. anyway, he noticed her pass by his building for the third time so he asked her if she needed help getting somewhere and the rest is history. (to me and three other people and now you!)
g-unit met marvel pretty quickly because marvel and carver are pretty much a package deal! they bonded very quickly over their love of guitar hero and because they both talk a lot so they had a lot to talk about! because i am the kind of person who writes fanfic for her own characters, marvel/gabriel is actually my favourite non-canon pairing AHAHAHAHAHA. the three of them all love each other very much.

<333 I want to read the meetings! (Though you sort of just wrote it in the reply too!) It's one of my fave parts of stories - how people meet/their first impressions. :D

i will totally have to type them sometime! thank you so much for being so kind! i agree, meetings are always so much fun. :D it's weird for me to think you only know some of the story, though, since everyone else knows it like from beginning to end and all the secondary characters and everything, so it's very very cool to see it from a perspective different than that! ah! <333333333333333333333333333333333
